🐾 WE’VE REVIEWED YOUR CV. IT SAYS YOU LIKE CATS.

So does everyone’s. What makes you different?

Welcome to your interview with Ashford & South Kent Cats Protection.

“How do you respond to being shouted at by someone you’ve already fed?”

“Are you comfortable working under a supervisor who is asleep?”

“Describe a time you opened a door, then waited patiently while someone decided whether they actually wanted to use it.”

We’re recruiting volunteers to help local cats get their second chance. A little time, kindness and a willingness to be judged would go a long way.

Message us to find out how you could help.

Some reassurance for cat owners….

As Brits pack their bags for a well-earned end of summer break, a wave of separation shame can sweep through nearly one-in-four UK households who share their home with a cat; will my cat sit pining on the windowsill and, worse, will they remember me when I return? The chatty end of the cattery…my ‘grand cats’ Max and Fifi are staying but Max the Egyptian Mau has an opinion he wants to share!!

Double trouble. This is Merlin and Magnus’ first stay but they are getting the hang of cattery life!!

This is Reggie’s first stay. He had a disagreement with a local cat prior to his arrival so arrived with an abscess on his face. His holiday is a great chance to recover. He has been such a good boy taking his tablets by mouth no trouble at all and he is healing well. He has also had some urinary tract troubles in the past so I had a worrying first day waiting for him to use his litter tray. A quick change from wood pellets to clay based litter did the trick!

This is a sadder post for me. Zorro has been coming here on a regular basis since he was a kitten. His family are now relocating so this is the last time I will see him. It’s been such a pleasure to see him grow up.

This is Millie, she’s an older lady who loves a gentle groom and a chat

It’s been an absolute age since I shared some of the vids that I send to owners by way of updates and, they are one of the best bits of my day. Hope they make you smile as much as they do me!! Heres’s Monty…
