We have been welcoming and caring for patients since 1982. The well-being of our community's animals is important to us! We give back to a variety of local animal rescue organizations. Hillside Veterinary Hospital was one of the first practices in our region to offer Acupuncture and Chiropractic services. Extensive renovations were completed in April 2008, including the installation of our hydro treadmill. We are the Island’s first comprehensive veterinary rehabilitation facility. We are accepting referrals for our rehabilitation and sports therapy services. Open 7 days a week, our practice is a full hospital facility offering a balanced holistic approach to pet’s health needs from traditional to complementary medicine. We offer a wide range of services to promote our patients' good health, including patient examination, on site anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, radiology, nursing care, laboratory services, and a full pharmacy, including herbal medicines.

𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝗥𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

We want to inform our rehabilitation clients that our hydrotherapy treadmill has unexpectedly stopped working. As a result, we are currently unable to provide hydrotherapy services for animals in our rehabilitation department.

Effective immediately, we are also placing a pause on all new rehabilitation intakes (outside of chiropractic) until further notice.

We understand how important these services are to your pet’s recovery and well-being, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

If you have not already been contacted by your rehabilitation technician, please reach out to our team to discuss your pet’s current rehabilitation plan and determine whether any adjustments are needed.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued trust in our team as we navigate this unexpected interruption in service. We will share updates as more information becomes available.

Our pets can’t tell us when something hurts, and are often much better at hiding pain than we realize! That’s why knowing the signs can make such a difference ❤️

Whether it’s acute pain from an injury or procedure, or chronic pain caused by conditions like arthritis, recognizing the signs early can help your pet get the comfort and care they need.

Watch and learn more about what pain can look like in our pets, and remember, when in doubt it’s always worth talking to your veterinary team.
