🐾 Luna Has Found Her Forever Family! 🐾

We are absolutely thrilled to share that 5-month-old Luna, our beautiful Shepherd/Husky mix, has found her forever home! ❤️

Luna has hit the jackpot with a wonderful family who are already so excited to welcome her into their lives. Beth, Matthew and two kids are looking forward to making Luna part of all their family adventures — from long walks and hikes to exploring new places and creating countless happy memories together. 🥾🌲🐾

At just five months old, Luna has her whole life ahead of her, and we couldn’t be happier knowing that she’ll grow up surrounded by love, companionship and a family who is ready to give her the active, fun-filled life she deserves.

From rescue to forever… Luna’s happy ending has arrived! 🏡❤️

🐾❤️ Puppy Bean Has Found Her Forever Home! ❤️🐾

We are so happy to share that 4½-month-old Bean, our sweet Shepherd mix who came to us from a northern Ontario community, has officially found her forever family!

Bean’s journey has brought her into the loving hands of Chrissy and Jeff, and we couldn’t have dreamed up a more wonderful home for this special girl. 🏡❤️

Chrissy and Jeff love spending time together at home, but they also enjoy getting outside for walks and hikes — and their rural surroundings provide the perfect playground for an adventurous young pup. With protected trails and beautiful provincial parks nearby, Bean will have endless opportunities to explore, sniff, run and discover the world alongside her new family. 🌲🥾🐾

Most importantly, Bean has found two people who are excited to make her part of their lives and give her all the love, patience and companionship she deserves.

From northern Ontario to a forever home filled with love and adventure… Bean’s happy ending has arrived! ❤️

A warm welcome to Milo 🐾

This sweet boy is coming into our care as an owner surrender. Milo is a 1year old male.

Milo’s caretaker is no longer able to care for him due to their own health and medical needs. We know it’s difficult to make the decision.

Happy Tails Marco! 🐾

This sweet scruffy pup was very popular but one young couple stood out. Kris and Erin have two cats and were eager to add a dog to their home. lots of experience growing up, volunteering at shelter in high school and dog sitting for friends, they felt it was time. The meet and greet sealed the deal. A week later, Marco joined them and he is settling in beautifully. We are so pleased to see lots of updates.

Special Thanks to Esther for being a flight angel and to Maria and John for always going above and beyond for these lovely dogs. Thank you for choosing rescue! Please share some love for Marco and his new family!

Welcome Back Pepper! 🐾

Pepper, a northern dog, entered our care 21 months ago. She was adopted to a lovely family who had recently lost their northern and was with them for 19 months. Sadly, their youngest daughter was often sick and recently saw an allergist who determined she was very allergic to dogs. Allergy meds didn't solve the problem, and as hard as it was to this family, Pepper is now back in our care.

We are grateful that her original foster was happy to have Pepper back and she is settling into living with an active 7 month old puppy, who now has an eager mentor.

We will be getting reacquainted with Pepper and updating her bio soon. We do know she is house trained, loves children, playing with the ball and is eager to find her new family. Share some love for Pepper in the comments 😍
