🎂Today… would have been my mom’s birthday.

🌹She passed away on Mother’s Day in 2013.

💗I share this because my love for animals came from my parents. My mom was scared of dogs… not because she wanted to be, she was attacked twice and once when I was very young in our own backyard. An attack by a border collie (believe it or not - they are still one of my fav breeds) so bad if it was me I could have died. She did not let her fear affect how I interacted with dogs which I am so grateful for.

🐺My first dog Mia and her has such a special bond. She wasn’t scared of Mia because I got Mia orphaned at 6 days old and hand raised her. My mom was a woman of little words but on her death bed everyday she asked about Mia. Mia got me through the loss of my mom and gave me the courage to be who I am today. I regretfully don’t have any pictures of them together. So here is picture of 6year old me and my mom and Mia at 7/8years old.

🌹I know my mom and Mia are together on the other side 🌈 I have had a vision of them (for those that believe in that kind of thing).
I miss them dearly but i know that they still guiding the way. 🕊️🕊️
