Better late than never… WELCOME, Dr. Annie Zehnder! 🩺🐾

Annie joined our team as a full-time veterinarian in July and, as expected, has naturally settled right in! We are so happy to officially introduce her to our IVH community.

For those wondering — yes, she is Dr. Mark’s niece! 💛 We are thrilled that Annie chose to come back home to Invermere and join our team, continuing a pretty special Zehnder connection here at IVH.

A few fun facts about Dr. Annie: when she’s embracing her homebody side, she loves knitting and baking, but she’s equally happy outside. You can often find her in the mountains hiking, camping, and enjoying everything our valley has to offer.

Annie grew up on the Zehnder farm, so animals have always been a big part of her life. Now, she gets to turn that lifelong love into caring for the furry family members in our community. 🐶🐱

We’re so excited to have you, Annie — officially, welcome to the IVH family! 💕

We appreciate your patience while we take this short break to learn together and apologize for any inconvenience.

We’ll be back and ready to help at 2:00 PM! 💙

🐾 An Update on Nola! ❤️

After being reunited with her family for a week now, we’re so happy to share that Nola is doing great!

After being missing for an incredible 42 days with very little food, Nola was brought to us last Friday so we could assess her overall health. Aside from some minor skin issues, our biggest focus has been carefully and slowly reintroducing calories while monitoring her closely with frequent bloodwork.

Over the past week, Nola has made amazing progress and has now worked her way back up to eating her regular recommended daily calories! 🎉

We couldn’t be happier to see Bob, Wendy, Sadie, and Nola all together again, and to see Nola continuing to get stronger each day. ❤️

A HUGE thank you to every single person who searched, shared posts, kept watch, offered support, and played a part in bringing Nola home. Her story truly shows what can happen when a community comes together. A Huge shout out to
GALS Animal Rescue who got Nola to the clinic first thing last Friday morning.

It really did take a community to bring Nola home. 🐾❤️

A huge thank you to Dana and Hannah for another summer filled with support, learning, laughter, and growth! 💙🐾

We have been so lucky to have you both as part of our team, and while we’re sad to see the summer come to an end, we are so excited for what comes next!

Dana and Hannah are both heading off to the Western College of Veterinary Medicine to take the next big step toward pursuing their dreams of becoming veterinarians. 🩺🐶🐱

We can’t wait to watch you grow into the confident, skilled, and compassionate veterinarians we already know you’re capable of becoming over the next four years.

We are incredibly proud of you both and will be cheering you on every step of the way. Good luck, Dana and Hannah — WCVM is lucky to have you! 🎓💙🐾

And remember… you’ll always have a home and a team cheering you on here at Invermere Veterinary Hospital! ❤️
