Snuggly sweetheart Poe is ready to find his forever home!

Life on the streets was never really Poe’s style. Soft beds, fun toys, and being close to his people are much more his speed! While he certainly has his playful moments, Poe’s favourite activity is keeping his humans company throughout the day.

Poe could do just fine in a home with another calm, friendly cat. Dogs aren’t really his favourite, but with proper introductions, he could likely coexist with a cat-savvy, respectful dog. That said, he’s thoroughly enjoyed being king of his castle and would be just as happy as the only pet in the home. He’s done very well with apartment living and doesn’t need much space, just lots of attention!

Almost 14 years young Grandpa Teddy is officially on the hunt for his retirement home.

This handsome Bengal gentleman is proof that age is just a number. Teddy is incredibly friendly, social, affectionate, and still very much has that classic Bengal personality. He loves attention, and absolutely still has that curious, intelligent spark Bengals are known for!

And speaking of Bengals — while Teddy is a senior, potential adopters should know this breed isn’t your typical laid-back couch potato cat. Bengals are known for being vocal, interactive, clever, and delightfully opinionated. They thrive on companionship, stimulation, and being part of the action. Teddy may be in his golden years, but he still carries many signature Bengal traits proudly! He loves his supervised outside time walking on a secure harness and would love to keep this up in his new home.

Teddy is in excellent health for a senior boy. His dental surgery went smoothly as can be, and he’s ready for his next and best chapter of life!

He would love to be the only kitty in his home, but would do well with one other calm cat social cat. He can be a little dominant at times and appreciates being respected as the distinguished gentleman of the household!

One of the less visible but important programs we operate is our Spay & Return program.

As a small rescue, we’re only be able to help approximately 15–20 cats through this program each year, but for those cats and the families who care about them, the impact is huge.

A non-negotiable part of our rescue’s mission is that when we take in kittens, we ensure that mom and any other intact cats in the home are fixed. While sometimes this can be a bit trickier when we’re dealing with feral cats on rural properties, we can never in good conscience remove kittens from a situation without doing everything we can to make sure they will be the last litter.

In some cases families are able to contribute a small portion of the cost. In others, we cover the expense entirely. While Edmonton is fortunate to have excellent resources available, including the PALS Program through the Edmonton Humane Society, waitlists are lengthy and urgent situations don’t always have the luxury of time.

Every mom cat who is spayed means fewer kittens born into uncertain circumstances, and more resources available for the cats who truly need them.

Fundraisers like Paw Month kicking off at several of our Pet Valu locations June 1st help make programs like this possible. Every donation and every volunteer hour helps us continue this commitment to the cats and families who need it most.

Because while rescuing kittens is fulfilling, making sure there isn’t another litter is even better!

Our Bermudaful Beach Boys Sandy, Tucker, Paget & Stormy are officially on the lookout for their forever families!

These playful, affectionate little guys are approximately 10–11 weeks old and truly the purrfect kittens in every way. They adore each other and are very closely bonded, so they’ll be heading home in pairs. Sandy & Tucker are waiting to meet you at in Sherwood Park, while Paget & Stormy are soaking up the attention over at Pet Valu .

The boys are neutered, microchipped, and have received their first vaccines. Sweet, social, and full of island-boy charm, these Bermuda Beach Boys are just waiting for the tradewinds to carry them home to their forever families.

Atlas has some exciting news to share — he has officially graduated from FIP treatment!

It’s hard to believe this is the same cat who came to us emaciated, frostbitten, and literally on deaths door. Fast forward 84 days, and Atlas is happy, thriving & spoiled rotten!

While we’ll still be monitoring him during his 84 days of observation, relapse rates are very, very low (around 1%), so we’re incredibly optimistic about this sweet boy’s future.

Atlas will be staying right where he is during his observation period with his foster family, who completely fell in love with him along the way. We’re so hopeful this will become his forever home — this angel man deserves the very best happy ending.

FIP is treatable, especially when caught early. It’s one of the most misdiagnosed illnesses in cats, particularly the dry and neuro forms that don’t show what many vets feel are “classic” FIP symptoms with fluid filled bellies. Together with the , we’re working so hard to spread information & education at every possible opportunity ❤️

2 year old majestic floof Pebbles is patiently waiting for her forever home!

Pebbles is a sweet, gentle and affectionate young lady who loves to give head boops and has a purr like a motor! She would really love to be the only cat in her forever home, although she could adjust to sharing her space with a calm, cat, friendly male cat (for sure no other female kitties, please!).

Pebbles would also make an excellent companion kitty for a senior, or somebody who works shifts and wants a cuddle buddy waiting for them at the door. She spayed, vaccinated, and chipped, and as our feature kitty has NO adoption fee!

**Adopted!** Twin baby house panthers Onyx and Obsidian have joined us from our friends at TYPE! They didn’t have any luck finding their forever home at their last stop, but we just know their happy ending is out there with the FMN family!

Onyx and Obsidian are as bonded as brothers can be. They do everything together and love each other dearly, and must be adopted as a parent. They’re content around other friendly cats, and enjoy the company of kiddos! They’re learning lots about dogs during their time at the store, and could easily adapt to a cat social, calmer dog with slow introductions.

These cuties are the purrfect quintessential kittens! They love to play, play, play! When it’s time to recharge their batteries, a soft, warm lap will do just fine. They are all very cat social, and must be adopted to a home where they’ll have a friendly kitty playmate. They’re learning about dogs, and would do just fine in a dog-friendly home with slow introductions. And kiddos are just great!

Some cats are meant for couches, others are meant for the freedom of country life, and this handsome ginger boy is one of them.

He has spent his entire life living outdoors in a rural community. And while it’s always our hope that with time and patience cats will want to adjust to indoor life, confinement has been incredibly stressful for him. He’s telling us in all the ways he possibly can, he’s meant for barn cat life!

We’re searching for a shop or barn placement for this independent soul. He will need to be safely locked into his new space for a minimum of 3–4 weeks while he acclimates and learns where home is. His new setup must include regular access to food, fresh water, thoroughly insulated or heated shelter, and veterinary care if needed. He does well with other feral or independent outdoor cats & would be an easy addition to an existing barn cat environment.

All barn kitties are neutered & vaccinated. A donation toward his care is appreciated, but not required.

Help us give this boy the life he’s asking for!
