Even with a broken knee, the treats will be made. The fur babies are counting on us & we will not let them down. They're all natural, vegetarian dog treats that our customers say their dogs love! And you'll love them because we just made them even healthier; we switched out vegetarian oil for extra virgin olive oil. We just still have to update our website. On Thursday I thought I would take a day off since I worked a fabulous market in St Albert Wednesday evening. I slept in a little, picked up a few groceries & figured I'd clean the house that afternoon. Little Red was lying in the kitchen, as he always does & I began putting away groceries. I stepped over him lying on the floor, as I've done a million times, but this time he decided to get up & went down hard on the kitchen floor! The dog treats in the glass bowl spoiled, breaking the glass & he ran to the back porch. That's where he & Oscar stayed, thankfully, until my husband got home half an hour later. I didn't want them walking on glass. I called 811 & spoke to a nurse who suggested I call an ambulance for the hospital. Getting in a vehicle was our of the question as I could not bend my leg or put any pressure on it whatsoever. After waiting 19 hours in the U of A emergency room in excruciating pain, I finally got to see a doctor. The doctors & nurses beyond the waiting room were absolutely fabulous!
Next Saturday, William will be working & I will have to find someone yet for Sunday. Thankfully I baked quite a bit last week so I don't have to panic bake!
