Beta Dog Training For Dogs That Go Everywhere! After working with dogs of all shapes and sizes, we believe that there is no ONE WAY to train a dog.

Beta Dog Training was born out of a desire to give dog owners the ability to lead the fullest life they can with their dog by their side! We believe the best life a dog can live is not necessarily one where they avoid stressful situations their entire life, but one where they have been taught the tools needed to deal with everyday stresses and fears, allowing them to live their life out and about with you as much as possible. Walking around your neighbourhood, enjoying a sunny day, and doing new things are all parts of a normal everyday life and should hopefully be enjoyed by your dog as much as you. There is no way to train your dog that is better then the way that works best for YOU and YOUR DOG!

Private lessons are not just for ‘aggressive’ dogs! There are so many things that can be trained in private lessons, where getting individual instruction from a trainer can make training much easier and faster. When you’re in a large group it’s hard to focus on only the things you may need to work on, and there are so many distractions that it may even be difficult for your dog to learn in general. Clients will often learn far more in 3 private lessons tailored to them and their specific issues than in twice the number of group sessions with very little individual instruction. Group classes are fantastic for when dogs and owners are ready to work with distractions, practice in a controlled environment or improve their skills but they’re not a great ‘first step’ for a lot of people! Private lessons can focus on any specific issue and can be tailored to work around your schedule. Looking to get some issues under control? Visit our website to see our lesson packages or shoot us an email to sign up! All our package information is on our website, you will never need to ‘sign up/make an account’ or call us on the phone to get basic pricing information, we promise!

Happy Trails Oakley ❤️
One month ago we said goodbye to Oak. She is the reason Sienna started at Beta and has a career in dog training. After going through her own training as a young dog she spent many years assisting as a demo dog. She was a drama queen, crate breaker, vocal soprano, problem solver, and Sienna’s soul.

She would be appalled if I did not take this opportunity to list her accomplishments:
🥇 As of Summer 2026 she got her Masters Title in Rally Obedience. (This means she has FIVE titles in Rally)
🏡 Canine Good Neighbour (she would make a terrible real neighbour but she has a piece of paper saying otherwise)
✨Although her owner was lazy and never officially got titles for them, she dabbled in scent detection, tracking, and tricks!

Adventuring in the river valley and being Sienna’s guinea pig for all of her training tik toks (she probably danced to more Taylor Swift than you) were some of the best times.

Bless the box that brought her to us✨
