Good cool frosty morning, October 11th, 2026, Thanksgiving Sunday. The sun rays are bright on my little balsam fir tree that I am going to cut early November for the kitchen. It's research to see how well it will hold its needles. Enjoy.

Good day from Emyvale Ranch , Gordie says "we are feeling all kinds of ways these days, but thankful leads." The PopUp Market was a great time with 5 vendors including Gordie's spatulas and shoehorns. The paintings ranged from a field of beef cattle to whimsical hubcaps, Christmas or fall decorations made a show and the organic cranberry muffins charmed many of us.
Lots of familiar and new folks found their way to Emyvale Ranch and the conversations were varied. Nancy Smith seemed to discuss rhurbarb and chicken manure while Gordon Carmody had a crew around the workshop fixing something on a car.
