🌟 Kim Philipoff KPA CTP, CNWI, CCFC, EA, CWAGS Judge
Kim Philipoff has trained and worked with dogs for more than 18 years. She believes that every dog—regardless of breed—has the ability to learn, grow, and develop new skills. Over the course of her career, Kim has trained and competed in a wide range of dog sports, with her dogs’ earning titles in Agility, Flyball, Rally Obedience, Scent/Nosework, Barn Hunt, Scent Hurdle, and Tricks.
Kim has also performed with the President’s Choice SuperDogs and spent many years instructing classes at the SuperDog Spectrum. Beyond training and teaching, she has fostered numerous puppies for local rescues, contributing to early development and socialization for dogs in need. She is also a certified CWAGS Scent Judge.
Kim shares her home with a variety of breeds and values the unique training approaches each one requires. Her background in education enhances her ability to support owners in developing effective training strategies for their puppies and dogs. She recognizes that a onesizefitsall method rarely works and tailors her instruction to meet the needs of each dog-and-handler team.
Committed to ongoing professional development, Kim regularly participates in classes and seminars with her own dogs and continues to expand her knowledge of canine behaviour and training. She has earned her Dog Training Professional Certification through the Karen Pryor Academy and her Certified Nose Work Instructor (CNWI) designation through the NACSW.
Above all, Kim believes that training should be a fun, positive, and rewarding experience for both the dog and the human.
