A little update about myself in my current situation.
Some of you now know but many don’t I was in a bad car crash on September 19. As a result, I have broken my wrist in two places and broke my hand as well. This is the reason I have not had walk-in nail trims and why I haven’t been able to groom dogs. Thankfully, my amazing groomer Michaela at Poochi Girl pet spa is still grooming and taking on nail trims as well. I did require surgery on two of the breaks the end of last week. So I will still be recovering for a little bit. I am really lucky to have so many great people in my life to help out.
As a small business owner, I’m sure you can imagine this has affected my business. I just ask to keep us in mind for all your pet supply needs. Many people think independent businesses will be more expensive, but our prices are the same if not lower in many cases. We have frequent buyer on all our food. Seniors day twice a month ongoing sales and you’re supporting a local entrepreneur who has also hired locals in the community. Your continued support allows us to keep the business running and give back to the community the way we love to do.
He will still see me at the pet store, and I will still be at the grooming side three days a week helping to dry dogs with my good hand lol.
In the meantime for walking nail trims, Kenzie‘s canine club is going to be able to help out on Saturdays or Sundays for walk-in nails and during the week we can book a Poochi Girl pet spa if you’re not able to come on the weekend.
Also, a reminder if we don’t carry your food, we are happy to bring it in if we can, or recommend a really good food that is equivalent and quality and price that you were looking for
Thank you for supporting a local small business pet store and local owner
Andrea
