Dr Osso's foster puppy Crumpet was at the clinic today getting some socialization with our co-op students. They took some adorable photos of him! He's an 11 week old boxer lab mix who is up for adoption through Freedom Dog Rescue . He's still looking for a home and we think anyone would be lucky to bring this guy home!

We're expanding! We've been working behind the scenes for a while on a renovation that will allow us to continue to provide the best quality of care to our patients. We will be adding additional surgical and exam rooms, as well as some additional work space for our staff.

We're set to break ground in the next week and expect construction to take 4-6 weeks. Since it will be separate from our current work space, we will be able to remain open. However as construction is noisy, we welcome any particularly stressed patients to delay elective care until after it is complete. We will also be offering complimentary oral sedative options for all patients before visits to reduce their stress associated with the disruption. Let us know if you feel your pet would be a good candidate for this extra help.

Our staff will be partaking in some continuing education for the next two Saturdays, so we will be closed November 2 and November 9th. We will re-open with normal hours during the week.

10/18/2024

In order to give out valued staff some well deserved time off, we will be closed this Saturday, October 19th. We will reopen at normal hours on Monday. Happy weekend.

The clinic will be closed tomorrow (July 20th) and reopen as normal on July 22nd.

This adorable little girl is looking for a home. Wisp has been hand reared since she was found at 4 weeks of age and is now 7 weeks old and will be ready for her new home soon. Message us or call at 613-256-3443 if you are interested in adding her to your family. A small adoption fee will cover her kitten vaccines and spay appointment.

Did you know we help as turtle first responders for the Ontario Turtle Conservation Center? Injured turtles can be brought here as a first stop on their way to more rehab in Peterborough. Even severely injured turtles can be saved and returned to where they came from.

We are in need of more plastic tubs as we send them along with the turtles, rubbermaid work great, so if you have any lying around, we would happily take them as a temporary housing for the turtles.
