Lovely temperament, can do anything with him.
Been doing feedlot work for the last 3 years.
•Mustering
•Drafting
•Penning cattle
•Tailing cattle
•Can rope of him
•Has carried calves on his back
•Great to Rug, Shoe, Brush, Wash and saddle
•Ride ba****ck
•Self loads on float
•No bolt or Rear
Only con is if his had some time off and you bring him in and saddle him he will be a bit bumpy but if he isn’t cinched up quickly and lunged first you can get on and go and his fine. After the first day he doesn’t do it it’s only when he had a fair bit of time off.
My younger brothers (who do not ride) have ridden him on many occasions, they have also ridden him into the river and jumped of his back into the water.
Jack is one of the quietest horse I have owned happy to do anything you point him towards and not much scared him. Can jump him over a few logs, run some barrels or take him on a day out to pony club.
Been there done that sort of horse.
Was used as a trail horse for a couple years.
Selling due to no fault of his own, I’ve just had a bad fall off a horse and am out of action and will be slowly working back into them in a few weeks. I also want to focus a little more on my younger horses and his going to waste in the paddock. Very regretful sale but will suit a young adult wanting a quiet horse to poke around on 😊
