TW Racing Trent Wells Racing is located on course at Spreyton, We offer Horse Training and Pre-Training. Trent is hands on and rides most of his own track work.

Trent was a successful Jumps Jockey until moving onto Training in a partnership for the last 10 years.

R3 N5: Leo Davinci 💛💙

He’s having a great prep so far and this is his perfect trip in my opinion. He’ll get back so needs the speed on and I couldn’t be any happier with him.

R4 N3: It’s Jagger Time 💛❤️

Jagger is off a freshen up and has drawn perfect which will go along way in what is a very competitive field.

R4 N7: Tikken ❤️💛

He’s 2 from 3 in Tassie he’s loving our island 😂 massive step up in grade but gets a nice little weight relief. He’ll need to do everything right but there is absolutely no reason why he won’t be right there in the finish.

R6 N8: Platinum Reggae 💛❤️

Another one that’s having a great little prep. Drawn perfect and looks to get a good run in transit. This is an easier race than her last 2 she’s been good in so hoping she’ll be right in the thick of things.

R6 N11: Alpine Beau 💙❤️🤍

A new addition to the stable and it’s been a battle to get a run with him. But although this is short of his best distance and more of a kick off point I’ve been very happy with him and he’s shown he has above average ability so I’m expecting a good return to the track.

R8 N7: G G Can Win ❤️💛

We were pretty flat that he missed out getting a run last Dev meeting but he’s had a trial and now is forced to step to the mile. The old boy looks a treat and is feeling well. I think the speed will be on and Jacko is a nice and strong rider so hoping he is charging late.

We had a productive day at the office, securing three thirds and a winner. All our horses tried their best, which was satisfying to see. Congratulations to Tikken's owners on scoring his second win out of three starts this prep. We’re very proud of our little Arch man. 10/10 ride by Gando. Thanks to everyone who shows up and helps us out when needed, Much appreciated. Finally, a big shoutout to Noush from Shayannic Cyrotherapy, who is here every fortnight helping our horses feel their best and bringing the coffees ☕️. Shayannic Cryotherapy

R2 N6: Leo Davinci 💛💙

He’s come through his 1st up run in great order and with the added fitness I expect him to hit the line even better this time with the shades added and with a good tempo expected.

R3 N8: Platinum Reggae 💛❤️

She’s having a ripper of a preparation so far and drawn lovely in gate 3 today she’ll be around the mark again. Not a lot of speed in the race is a concern but she’ll be right on their hammer and ready to pounce late.

R3 N8: Vanity Star 💛❤️

Our old boy is well out of his depth here but it was the only race we could get a run in. He’s in fantastic order and if he can work home late we’ll be over the moon with.

R5 N2: Tikken ❤️💛

He’s only 2 runs for the stable have been absolute rippers. Drawn perfect for the 1350m and if Gando can give him some favours I’m sure he’ll be fighting out the finish.

R6 N1: Gladding ❤️💛

He’s first up with 59kg but trialled up great. He’s a bit off a problem child but one we have a good opinion of. Drawn a bit sticky for the 1000m but if Kelv can sort that out I’m sure he’ll be around the mark.

R5 N1 : It’s Jagger Time 💛❤️

He’s having a great prep albeit being the bridesmaid in all 3 runs so far but there has been merit in every run. He heads to Hobart for the first time in his career but with the blinkers re applied I’m sure he will be right in the thick of things.

We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking person to join the team at Trent Wells Racing for casual stable work, 2 days a week, mornings and afternoons as needed.

Horse experience is preferred. Duties may include:

* Handling horses
* Feeding and stable duties
* general yard work
* Assisting with day-to-day stable operations
* Raceday a bonus

Must be confident around horses, willing to learn, and able to work in a team environment.

Casual hours available, with flexibility for the right person.

R2 N3: Tikken 💛❤️

He’s a new comer to the stable that’s had his fair share of chances to break his maiden on the mainland. We’ve had him all prep and from a beautiful gate and Gando on board he should get his chance.

R4 N9: G G Can Win 💛❤️

The old boy is ready to have a good prep and break his winning drought. Not sure today will be his day but with hot speed in the race he should be hitting the line strong.

R6 N4: California Flyer 💛🖤

She’s had a great prep so far and was a little unlucky last start. It’s her first run on her now home track so that’s a question mark but has no weight after the claim and drawn well and will be on pace.

R7 N5: Platinum Reggae ❤️💛

She’s come on from her great first up effort and back to her home track which she’s won on previously. Drawn a bit sticky but looks good speed and if they are making ground I’m sure she’ll be there abouts.

R7 N10: Vanity Star ❤️💛

If we just go off his last few runs on the synthetic he’s a massive chance. I have lost a little bit of faith in him but he shouldn’t have any excuses today whether he wins or not he should still run a boltler!!

R8 N7: Only Old Once 💛❤️

We’ve been really happy with both of her trials and by the time the last comes around and after the expected 30+ mls of rain the track may be a bit of a survival of the fittest and she needs further then today’s 1150m.

Good luck to everyone involved, we are really looking forward to today despite the miserable weather. It’s a great kick off to the synthetic season for our team. Hoping for a winner or two but just really want to see some promising runs that should hold the next few months in good hands for us going forward.

We are off racing today at Launceston for Good Friday 🐎🐎

R2 N6 : California Flyer 🖤💛

Shes came through her first run for us in great order and even from the horrid draw looks a winnable race for her.

R9 N2: It Jagger Time ❤️💛

Jagger comes into this second up and rises to the 1400m which worked well last prep when he came away with the win. He’s well weighted and draw nice so he should get his chance and what is a very competitive race.

R2 N6: California Flyer 🤎🖤

We’ve only had her a short time and she came over glowing and is still glowing. Her form from the mainland and aided by an inside draw should have her very hard to beat but she has had 10 tries to win a race and hasn’t but we certainly can’t fault her.

R3 N3: It Jagger Time ❤️💛

Our mate jagger kicks off his prep after a 4 week freshen up. I thought he trialled really good especially his last 200m. He’s drawn tricky but I’m sure he’ll give them a run for their money.

Good Luck 🤞 🤞 a bit of extra pressure with 2 of my 3 boys making an appearance at the races which is a rarity.

We have 2 runners today on our home track 🐎🐎

R3 N12: Alpine Joy. 🩷🖤

A forgettable first run for us when she missed the kick by a couple of lengths. She has begun well and trialled good here on the synthetic track a month ago. Drawn good and no weight on her back, I expect to see her improve a lot as she works well on this surface.

R4 N7: G G Can Win. 💛❤️

We’ve put him over a couple of jumps which he loves, hoping to give him an extra pounce in his step. It’s a very winnable race and I’d be disappointed if he’s not right there in the finish.
