The Equine Touch is a non invasive, non diagnostic, hands on system of bodywork. It utilizes the body's meridian pathways and acupuncture/acupressure points in order to bring your horse into balance through it's "body balancing address" Equine Touch mobilizes the fascia, increases blood flow and oxygen to the tissues and induces deep relaxation for the horse thereby improving well being and perfor

mance. Every horse can benefit from an Equine Touch session, whether it be the paddock ornament or the equine athlete. My goal is to provide an affordable and accessible service for the everyday horse owner, and for those in competition.

I recently had a client I was working on (human) ask me if I was doing Reiki on him. I chuckled and said ‘No, why?’ He went on to tell me my hands just got really warm, like REALLY warm. It got me thinking more about the energy I am using when working on horses, and people. I don’t know anywhere near enough about the energetic impact that bodywork has and how my own energy that I take with me contributes to the effect had on the recipient. Therefore it’s time to dive into something new! Learning about Chakras is something that has interested me for a long time. We all hold both positive and negative energy in our bodies so learning about how to get all that moving in a productive way makes sense to me! Thank goodness for today’s day and age of online learning, it makes learning new skills so much more accessible!!

While my daughter baked carrot cake and finger buns this afternoon I baked these 🤣🤣 sometimes it feels like cooking….a little bit of this and a little bit of that and voilà I have concocted something that can be eaten!!

Did you know that you can make changes to Just The Basics if you need to? A bag of Salt Base done for a client today leaving out Selenium and Iodine. Some premix/complete feeds have high levels of these 2 trace minerals already so in order to raise copper and zinc without risking an overload of these 2 trace minerals they can be left out 👌👍👍🐴

A very sad loss for the horse world this week with the passing of the legend that was Monty Roberts. His methods were what helped me develop a strong bond with my wild Brumby, Buster. It was through his online uni that I discovered The Equine Touch, where I saw Jock performing his amazing modality on Monty’s horses. I have a lot to thank Monty for!!

How did everyone’s horses fare in all this rain we’ve had??!! Do you rug or leave naked? Mine are not rugged….they could both do with losing a few kilos 🥴🫣 There is not normally a river running through their paddock either!! 🌧️💧
