Melbourne Bird Veterinary Clinic proudly supports rescue birds, and this week's adoptable bird spotlight is from Peanut’s Pigeon Project✨
"Available for adoption: Tofu!
Tofu came into care after getting injured and lost.
He was terrified of humans when he first arrived, but has made some good progress since joining the sanctuary flock. He no longer hides in terror and even gives an occasional “hello!” head nod.
Tofu isn't a cuddly pigeon but would thrive with a special owner who is ready to take a gentle, patient approach to helping him continue to rebuild trust.
Tofu would be happiest with another feathered friend or a flock.
Current signs point to Tofu being male, but this has not been confirmed. DNA sexing is available at-cost, if required.
If you think you might be able to give this soy-based marshmallow the gentle home he needs, please fill in our adoption expression of interest form: https://forms.gle/bg2vo2XyGq8hfwUQ7"
