We head to Murray Bridge Racing Club this afternoon with FIVE runners

RACE 3 - MALDIVICA broke her maiden last start, she’ll get a nice run from the good barrier and hope to see her hitting the line well with Will Price.

RACE 5 - PHINEAS impressive winner last Saturday looking to make it two in a row. Drawn well Jason Holder and expect him to run well again.

RACE 9 - We have a triple assault starting with BIG BRUTE who had a strong run into the placings last week. He’s won at this track and distance before and there is no reason he can’t do it again. Campbell Rawiller in the saddle.

ANNIHILATE was a little disappointing last start so looking to bounce back into form today from barrier 4 with Teagan Voorham.

ATTAIN was unlucky last Saturday and never really got a crack at them. Will need so luck from barrier 1 but looks ready for the 1400m today. Will Price to do the steering

Good luck to connections 🏇🧡🖤

PHINEAS TOO STRONG, TOO GOOD 💪🏼

PHINEAS delivered a tough and well-timed win at Morphettville on Saturday, with Jason Holder producing yet another polished ride in the red, white and green silks on the 4yo son of Shamus Award! Not only was it a gutsy win, but made even more special by the fact that it was his first win since recently joining our stable in April ✨

Jumping from wide and negotiating the rain-affected surface was going to make it a challenge but not ones he couldn’t overcome. He settled in the back half of the field and raced keenly early on before finding a nice rhythm.

Improving into the race approaching the turn for home, and with the tempo lifting, PHINEAS angled towards the middle of the track with plenty of galloping room to chase down the leaders. Beautifully balanced in the straight and with 3-4 lengths to make up, he demonstrated a terrific turn of foot and managed to reel in the leader in the shadows of the post, holding on for a memorable win.

It was another patient, confident ride from Holder, who judged the race perfectly and timed his finishing run to take control in the closing stages.

It has taken a few starts for the horse to find his feet and for us to familiarise ourselves with him but now he’s notched his first win, we are confident that it is onwards and upwards from here 🚀

Congratulations to connections and the entire team 🏇🧡🖤

We head to Morphettville Racecourse with FIVE runners on the Parks track

RACE 1 - KING OF WESSEX was better last start, goes around today over the 1950m trip with Will Price in the saddle from a good gate.

RACE 3 - PHINEAS has to overcome a wide barrier on track conditions that don’t really suit, hopefully he can improve his form on the soft track with Jason Holder

RACE 4 - MRS SECOMBE has been ok recently and will appreciate today’s track conditions with Will Price to do the steering

RACE 5 - ATTAIN is having his second start for the stable, his work has been good leading into today, he’ll get a nice run and expect him to be hitting the line strongly under Taylor Johnstone with the 1.5kg apprentice claim. VOLTAGE POINT has drawn well back in trip to the 1250m, with apprentice Isaac Sit taking the full 3kg off look for him to be hitting the line well.

RACE 8 - BIG BRUTE doesn’t want the track too soft so we will be watching the track throughout the day, he’s drawn barrier 1 with Campbell Rawiller in the saddle.

Good luck to connections 🏇🧡🖤

MALDIVICA BREAKS THROUGH AT GAWLER 🚀

Was exciting to see MALDIVICA finally break her maiden on Wednesday at Gawler in what was a very strong win - and a terrific reward for her patient owners and our staff!

She had been racing in very consistent form this preparation, and went to Gawler off the back of a solid effort at Morphettville, which had her nicely placed with a great opportunity to notch her first win.

Drawing midfield over the 1100m, she jumped smoothly and Teagan Voorham allowed her to find her feet and settle beautifully into stride, positioned just back of midfield.

Having followed a pretty smart one home last start, Tegan Voorham knew she had plenty of horse under her and began to make her move on MALDIVICA approaching the turn, hooking right to the outside.

By the time they reached the 200m she was in full flight, charging down the outside, and nothing was going to stop her saluting for her maiden victory!

Although it has taken a number of starts for her to break through, this slowly maturing filly is now developing the confidence needed to not only be highly competitive, but to go on and win!

Congratulations again to her connections and the team 🏇🧡🖤

RACE 3 - MALDIVICA wasn't disgraced in town and gets her chance today from a good draw with Teagan Voorham in the saddle

RACE 4 - MAGIC PRINCESS was good last start after a freshen up, drawn well to be in the finish with Todd Pannell

RACE 6 - FLYWAY needs to overcome a wide gate but has good record this track and distance and with handy 2kg claim for Isaac Sit should be finishing off strongly

We head to Morphettville Racecourse this afternoon with THREE runners lining up in RACE 6 - the Cummings Stakes, at Group 3 level

SCANDALIZE been racing well and draws a great gate to get a nice run in transit with Chris Parnham in the saddle, he should be right in the finish.

SUPER LAD is on the one-week backup after an impressive lead all the way win last Saturday, he’s undefeated at this track and distance but needs to step up today as this is a lot harder. Connor Murtagh in the saddle.

TEARDROP ROTATION finally drawn a decent gate after having to jump from wide barriers recently. Speed looks good and expect her to be hitting the line strongly with her regular jockey Teagan Voorham in the saddle.

Good luck to connections 🏇🧡🖤

SUPER LAD IN AUTUMN SERIES FINAL ROMP 💪🏼

Was a wet Morphettville for Derby Day but that didn’t dampen the day with a huge win from SUPER LAD in the Autumn Series Final over 1600m.

SUPER LAD was one of four contenders representing the stable - a huge effort from the team, managing to qualify four finalists from different heats across the state in the lead up to today’s final worth over $100K in prize money.

Having drawn a nice gate, the race was going to set-up well for SUPER LAD to assume a front-running position, with our other contenders all drawing somewhat awkwardly.

From the gate, he jumped well under the experienced Brad Rawiller and managed to move across taking the first corner as smooth as could be having gotten into a great rhythm.

Approaching the 600m mark, having kept off the fence to find the best going under foot, the challengers started to come but simply weren’t good enough to get near them with Rawiller in full control, guiding SUPER LAD into the straight and forging to the line for a super impressive win, with him remaining unbeaten at the mile and giving him the sixth win of his career!

Congratulations to connections and the dedicated team 🏇🧡🖤

We head to Morphettville Racecourse on Derby Day with FOUR runners in the 1600m Autumn Series Final!

Great job by the team to have 4 horse qualified to run in today’s final coming from all different heats across the state.

SUPER LAD drawn well with Brad Rawiller in the saddle, he looks the likely leader in the race and if we can capture his best form, he can certainly be fighting out the finish

ANNIHILATE won this final last year, barrier 1 with Jason Holder in the saddle will need some luck but will be attacking the line strongly

PHINEAS was unlucky last week getting further back in the run than what we anticipated. Has drawn the outside gate today so will need some luck, with Will Price in the saddle

VOLTAGE POINT was impressive through the line last start stepping up to 1600m today, barrier 13 doesn’t help but if he can get some cover early look for him to be coming down the outside late

Good luck to connections 🏇🧡🖤
