Wayne’s got back from Port Lincoln this week, after a terrific clinic at Oakmaine Arena . This facility is amazing, the folks on the Eyre Peninsula are so lucky to have it.

Thank you to Sam and James Gotch, and Cath Hazelgrove for your fabulous hospitality. Wayne has the best time with you all. The improvement of his students after each clinic is just so impressive.

Look forward to the next one!

Now, Where’s Wayne this weekend?

Off to NSW to run a cowhorse clinic!!

Mojo. The real deal

The next generation starts with genetics like this...

What do you get when you combine a $6M sire with a producing mare? You get a young stallion worth paying attention to.

COLONELS SHINING SPARK
Colonels Shining Gun x All About Mary

And he's not just relying on his pedigree either, he's already collecting buckles.
Sometimes the opportunity with a young stallion is getting in before the results of the next generation start telling the story.

Colonels Shining Spark, he's one to watch.

What a stallion, sure of ‘Mojo’, Colonels Shining Spark. Mojo will be at the breeding barn later this year!

𝐇𝐞’𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭.

That’s what makes Colonels Shining Gun stand out — he’s a sire whose influence continues to shape the next generation.

As NRHA’s first $10 Million Dollar Rider Andrea Fappani said, “People are gonna wanna invest in programs where they know they’re gonna have something special that nobody else is gonna have.”

And Colonels Shining Gun has it all, undeniable presence, talent, and mind. All of which he continues to pass on, generation after generation.

Thank you Jessica Panizza for making the big journey from WA to Victoria to help us, and experience the GVRHA Waterwheel Show. You were a fabulous help, and we’re so proud of you for pursuing this sport with such enthusiasm. We hope you had the slide of your life.

We took ‘Oscar’ to his first outing, in the 3YO Futurity at the GVRHA Waterwheel Classic show. Oscar is a GottaGettaGunner out of a DunitDownunder mare, who’s been with us for just over a year. He had a lot to cope with at such a big show for a baby horse, but took it all in his stride, even dropping a cap off his teeth that had been driving him mad! 3rd in his Futurity, and made his owner so proud. It was a special trip, Oscar’s owner is in his 80’s! He bred this horse, and hauled him, camped in his trailer, and helped out all week. Ron you’re amazing, thank you for trusting WH Performance Horses with your precious boy.

Building a show horse…..’Mojo’ had his 4yo Futurity at the GVRHA Show and was reserve by 1/2 a point in a nail biting competition. He increases his score each outing, and is becoming the show horse he is destined to be. Wayne believes in longevity and saving the horse. Watching the development of this young stallion is super exciting 🌟🌟🌟keep an eye out at the Oceania National for him later this year!
