We took ‘Oscar’ to his first outing, in the 3YO Futurity at the GVRHA Waterwheel Classic show. Oscar is a GottaGettaGunner out of a DunitDownunder mare, who’s been with us for just over a year. He had a lot to cope with at such a big show for a baby horse, but took it all in his stride, even dropping a cap off his teeth that had been driving him mad! 3rd in his Futurity, and made his owner so proud. It was a special trip, Oscar’s owner is in his 80’s! He bred this horse, and hauled him, camped in his trailer, and helped out all week. Ron you’re amazing, thank you for trusting WH Performance Horses with your precious boy.

Building a show horse…..’Mojo’ had his 4yo Futurity at the GVRHA Show and was reserve by 1/2 a point in a nail biting competition. He increases his score each outing, and is becoming the show horse he is destined to be. Wayne believes in longevity and saving the horse. Watching the development of this young stallion is super exciting 🌟🌟🌟keep an eye out at the Oceania National for him later this year!

What a show!!!! Thank you so much to the fantastic committee at Goulburn Valley Reining Horse Association, for the tremendous hospitality you showed all competitors this week. Your hard work was so appreciated. To the ladies in the secretary office, to Clancy on the gate, to the scribes, the judges, Kerryn the tractor driver, the canteen workers, Ken Andersen photography, all of you, you’re amazing kind people, and we are grateful for you.

We showed BP Gotta Dunit (Oscar) in his 3yo Futurity, Colonels Shining Spark in the 4yo Futurity, and of course, QP Gunshy in the Open. Lilly showed Gunshy all week too. It was a great atmosphere, our horses were on song, and it was lovely to catch up with good friends. Thank you Sue and Todd McCormick for letting us stay, we are blessed to have you in our lives.

Thank you Shannon and family for watching our horses and cats at home, we wouldn’t have this opportunity without you.

And of course, to the owners of these horses, Natalie Stanton who owns Mojo, and Ron McCreight who owns Oscar, you are such good friends, we are proud to show your horses.

A huge week of showing at the VRHA State show, saw Mojo win the Level 4 Open Futurity🌟🙌🙏✝️

We are so so grateful to his owner Nat Stanton for trusting us with this special stallion. He has such a big future. He’s a lot of fun to have in our barn.
