Dr Clare Middle was on call when she found herself operating on dog after dog with stomachs bloated with dried food.

โ€œSo I thought, dried food is a problem.โ€

That weekend made her start questioning what animals were being fed โ€” and what she was seeing in her patients.

Itchy skin. Ear infections. Large, sloppy stools.

And when she compared what she was seeing with animals eating fresh food, she began noticing a very different picture.
