We can’t help falling in love with Elvis 🫶🏼

Little Elvis likes to get up to mischief and got into a scuffle with the neighbourhood bad boy.

Being scared of vet clinics, the team was able to come out to assess him and treat his would and swollen right forelimbs!

Elvis is making a speedy recovery and we loved meeting him 🧡

Oh hi Little Bear 🐻

Little Bear was feeling sad and just not himself, his worried parents didn’t know why.

A little extra care revealed a sore back leg, and after getting the help he needed, he was soon back to his usual zoomie self! 💨

The best thing for Little Bear was that he didn’t have to get into the car and wait at the vets in pain, instead the Ready Vet Go team helped him right at home 🧡

Did you know? 🐾 Every pet who enters Australia from overseas passes through Melbourne for their mandatory quarantine period at the Post Entry Quarantine Facility, operated by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries & Forestry.

PEQ is their temporary home before they make it to their new home. ❤️🏠 Quarantine can be a big hurdle for pets & pet owners, however it is an essential step to protect Australia from serious biosecurity risks. Incoming animals are monitored closely to ensure the arrive safely & remain well during their stay.

🐱🐶 Sometimes, pets need extra veterinary care during their PEQ stay. That’s where Ready Vet Go can help. Our vets & vet nurses are approved to provide the unique service of private veterinary visits within the PEQ biosecurity zone for pets with an illness, helping them receive care while they wait to be reunited with their families.

We’ve had a run of ✨ especially✨ cute cat patients at Ready Vet Go. So go head, show them some love! 💕

🐱 We are always grateful to earn the trust of a feline, & our vets & nurses pride themselves on providing low-stress, cat-centric veterinary visits.

🏡 Cats are particular about their environment, & it’s nice to be able to provide urgent & emergency care in their home.
🚑 When they’re in need of transport to hospital, our ambulance is equipped with tools like our sound-dampening oxygen box, hands-free monitoring & feline calming pheromone sprays to provide medical support while also aiming to keep stress levels low. 🐾

"What a fantastic day learning all about the important role veterinarians play in caring for animals in our community.
Our children learnt how to safely approach and pat dogs and cats, including recognising when an animal may want space and when it is safe to interact with them.
They explored real veterinary equipment, asked thoughtful questions and gained a deeper understanding of how vets keep animals healthy and safe.
A huge thank you to Nic Saunders, Dr Paul Cunningham and the Ready Vet Go team for sharing their knowledge and passion with our children."
