Shyla was waiting at the gate, wanting a bit of attention. So out she comes for a little groom and I thought I may as well throw a leg over. Not sure how long since her last ride (I’m sure Sue Jarman or Kendall Moore could tell me) but she genuinely did not bat an eyelid.

A couple of the ponies on a lovely spring day!

Shyla came in for a groom and a feast on some long grass.
And spent some time with Monty and Matilda, giving them cuddles and pats. Matilda is also getting closer to the end of her pregnancy! Hoping for a little filly 😍

Rùm and Talisker having a bit of a play, like colts often do! Time for brain surgery as soon as it dries up a bit.

We have been a bit quiet on the social media front lately, and that is purely been because the weather has been awful! Just take a look at how muddy and wet our paddocks are in this video.

I do love my highlands but I must say, I wasn’t thrilled to come home from night shift to find a gate and box section plowed through 🤦🏼‍♀️
I’m just glad that we had no major injuries 🫶🏼

We had a pretty wild storm pass through this weekend and the neighbours had a couple huge trees fall, so we are pretty sure that is why the ponies took out the fence!

This stallions side profile is divine! Stirling is too handsome for words 🥰

First halter training sessions for Rùm! Took to it well, only planted his feet a few times but we got them unstuck pretty quick. He just needs to find a bit more confidence in me and he will get there. Clever little (big) man 🩷

Ruby Ridge Sruighlea (Stirling)

No filter needed! But having him stand nicely on flat ground would have been appreciated. He is standing ever so slightly down hill.
