With South Aussie with Cosi’s ‘Riding out the drought’ ride completed, my mum now has total faith in her trusty pony, Duncan. He proved to be a level-headed and just truely brilliant trail riding pony. They even featured in the Plains Producer Newspaper! You might be able to spot them just behind the pinto at the front 🐴🤠

It’s been a goal of my mum’s (Evelyn) to ride her own pony in the flinders ranges for as long as I can remember! And today, she finally did it as a part of South Aussie with Cosi’s ‘Riding out the drought’ trail ride.

Mum and Ruby Ridge Duncan, our first home bred highland pony, went on a ride through the beautiful countryside around Melrose. Duncan did exceptionally well as a relatively green pony under saddle and gave mum a ride she will remember forever 🫶🏼
