Our Veterinary Hospital provides modern, professional and affordable health care for your pets in our purpose built animal hospital.

We aim to make your pet feel at ease in our hospital with a caring and gentle approach to treatment and consultations. Our Veterinary Hospital has been an integral part of our local community for years. Clifford St Veterinary Hospital was first established in 1973. In that time, we’ve helped thousands of our clients cats & dogs. Being so strongly integrated with our local community is important to us and our clients. Our customers know by experience that they can rely on us for sound advice and treatment options and that their pet is in the very best hands with our team. We know that helping our clients starts with providing a good understanding of health care issues and treatment options. With good advice and professional recommendations, you’ll be well equipped to make the best ongoing health care decisions for your pet.

📣📣CHANGES TO ACCESS 📣📣
You cannot access us from Robinson St or Lansdowne St, you will need to use Hume St and Finlay Road.
There are detour signs on Robinson St but they send you around in circles which do not lead to us.
We apologies for the inconvenience, we have spoken to the site foreman and there is apparently nothing they can do to fix the poor signage.
Please allow extra time to get here for your appointment. The site foreman has assured us that they will let emergencies through 🤞🏼
Hoping Goulburn Mulwaree Council can help with the poor signage today.

Snake bite season is here! It's important to know the signs, because getting your pet to the vet as soon as possible after a bite hugely increases their chances of recovery.

Signs of a snake bite in pets can include:
🐍 Sudden weakness or collapse which can be followed by some temporary improvement
🐍Panting or laboured breathing
🐍 Salivating and/or vomiting
🐍 Shaking or twitching muscles
🐍 Paralysis
🐍 Blood in urine
🐍 Dilated (large) pupils

Snake bites can be fatal, making them a time critical emergency. If your pet has been bitten, if you find your pet with a snake, (either a dead or alive snake), or even if you think they may have been bitten, they need IMMEDIATE veterinary attention. It is always best to call prior to your arrival at the hospital. This gives the veterinary team a chance to set up for the emergency, giving your pet the best chance of survival.
