Happy Monday everyone. It's been massive couple of weeks, but, finally found some time to let everyone know how our top senior groomer Tara Harris did at the annual "PUP CUP" groom competition down in Coffs Harbour last week.
This year's competition was huge. Sooo many talented groomers from all over the country attending. Tara did us proud once again, bringing home a 2nd with her last minute replacement dog Finnigan a gorgeous Irish Wheaton Terrier. Then Tara claimed 3rd with her favourite class "Creative". Her Xmas in July theme was an 8week work of art. Massive congratulations from all your work colleagues.
Tara also competed in 4 other classes. Such a marathon effort. Long hours and next to no sleep.
Congratulations to all the amazing winners and competitors, judges and of course we wouldn't have a competition without the exceptional organisation skills of Jazz Fitzgerald. Huge thanks also goes to the businesses in the trade show area. We all love new products and equipment.
Can't wait for next year. See you all again in 2027.

Good Morning to all our Wonderful Clients.
As from July 1st 2026 our prices will be increasing.
I want to be honest and give everyone as much notice as possible.
Our prices are reviewed annually at the end of the financial year. It's with much regret that we have to increase all our services by $5.
As everyone knows" cost of living" is hitting us all and small businesses are no exception. To be able to keep our doors open, this raise has become necessary.
This $5 increase/ services will allow us to help cover the increased running costs of our salon.eg. electricity, water, rates, wages, products etc. Also, enable us to continue to learn and improve by attending workshops, competitions and seminars within our industry's standards and trends. This knowledge then allows us to offer the most up to date care for your furbaby.
If this raise in prices will be of a concern for you, please reach out to us. We are here to look after your furbaby and can discuss options to ease some of your concerns.
Our revised price lists will be available at reception in coming weeks and our website will be updated as from July 1st to reflect the changes.
Again, this increase has become a necessity. I hope everyone can understand.

Hello, it's been awhile. Just a quick update on what's been happening. We have been booked a couple weeks in advance since December ,mainly because I have decided that we need to slow down( we aren't as young as we'd like to think we are). WE were all so exhausted after Xmas. So, to still have our continued quality of work and care for our furry clients, it means that we have cut our number of dogs down from 24/day to 16 - 18. It has allowed us to breathe and connect with each dog better. Hope you can understand this decision.
Also, we have had a few staff changes. We have Rachael return to us for a couple hours each day, we have a new bather Rebecca, who we have been training,also Tiffany who has been here now for 2yrs will be moving up to groomers assistant with myself and Tara overseeing her grooming training.
BIG NEWS......and I know I'm a bit late with this but Tara travelled down to the Royal Easter Show in Sydney. Tara did us proud once again by achieving 2nd in the highest level" A ",Salon Freestyle with her poodle Yuki that she transformed into a Kerryblue terrier trim. Also awarded certificate of merit for her handstripped English cocker also in Level A.

Our next Competition will be the Pup Cup down in Coffs Harbour. We will be closed to attend the seminars, check out new equipment and of course Tara will be competing in 4 classes.
We will be closed Fri 10th July and Reopen Wed 15th July.
