Big boy Onyx is now available for adoption!

This guy is one of a kind! He’s 55kg of pure love. Onyx LOVES kids and socialising with other dogs. Given his size he would do better with older kids but don’t tell him we said that because he is obsessed with babies and toddlers 🤫
He’s great off leash, he will follow you around all day and comes when you call him. He’s been hanging out at our Berrima Sanctuary and has met a wide range of dogs, he is not suitable for a home with existing small dogs or cats but is great with medium and bigger dogs. We have a feeling he would enjoy a home as an only dog so he can get all the attention and love for himself!

It was an incredibly sad surrender and he has been VERY loved in his old home. He was surrendered due to no fault of his own. Given the situation he has a little bit of separation anxiety but settles pretty quickly when left on his own. He is not destructive, he’s just got a voice! He will thrive in a home with someone who can spend lots of time with him.

Whoever adopts this guy will be very lucky, he is loyal, stunning and has the most beautiful soul. He’s toilet trained and walks well on a leash with a halti but due to his size he will need a strong handler. Onyx’s mum and dad were police dogs but he didn’t make the cut (possibly because of his size).

Onyx is health checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date with flea/tick/worm treatments.

Does anyone recognise this beautiful boy?

He is 2 years old and not desexed. He was found wandering the streets and ended up at Liverpool Animal Shelter. He was microchipped but the details were in the breeders name so the breeder went and collected him.

He seems like he was very loved so we would love to see if his owners are out there somewhere looking for him.

Please share so we can try and get this guy home!

Hi, I’m Banjo! I’m a sweet, gentle boy with a calm nature and a playful spark that still shines through every day. My favourite things in the world are slow, relaxing strolls where I can take in all the sights and smells, followed by long cozy naps somewhere warm and comfortable. I’m friendly with the people I meet and love being around my family, quietly keeping you company and soaking up affection. I have a mellow personality, but I still enjoy little moments of fun and curiosity that make life exciting.

I’m searching for a loving forever home with a confident owner or family who understands dogs and can help me continue to feel safe, secure, and loved. Because of my nature and needs, I would do best in a home without children under 12 years of age. I’m also not suited to living with small animals, as I may find them a bit too intriguing.

I do have some arthritis, but at this stage the vets have not recommended any pain management treatment. My new family should simply be mindful that I enjoy a gentler pace of life with comfortable places to rest and moderate exercise to keep me happy and moving well.

What I can promise in return is endless loyalty, companionship, and plenty of love. I’m the kind of dog who will happily curl up beside you after a nice walk, keep you company throughout the day, and make even the quietest moments feel special. Busta is the most beautiful loving man who is craving a home that has the time to give him attention! Busta is a sweet young man who needs someone who loves to have their dog with them and enjoys walks and cuddles!

Busta is young so needs someone who loves guidance but just wants to please! He can sit, come and knows his name and just needs these reinforced and he will be an incredible boy!
This beautiful boy needs to be kept busy and would benefit from stimulation and daily attention! He gets very excited when you first get home and just needs some gentle reminders to calm down and then he is fine.

Busta is in need of a new home urgently. He is living in a small area down the side of the house because due to uncontrolled circumstances the family is just unable to give him the time he needs and he is getting sad!

Penny is a beautiful, fun loving girl who’s ready to find her forever family and start her next big adventure! She came into our care from the pound and since then has been showing us just how smart she is.

She’s great with other dogs but will need slow introductions as she can get a little scared at first. Once she feels safe, her playful personality really shines through. Penny absolutely adores people and kids, loves chasing a ball and enjoys getting out for walks. She’s got plenty of energy for fun, but she’s just as happy curling up for a nap and a cuddle after a big day.

She’s food driven (which makes training a dream!), knows her name, comes when called (unless her nose leads her on a little side quest) and can sit and wait, though sometimes her excitement gets the better of her.

Penny truly is a gorgeous family dog with so much love to give. She’s just waiting for the right home to call her own 💕

Ryder is looking for his forever family! 🐾

This guy is the ultimate package! He’s dog friendly, cat friendly, kid friendly, great recall, sweet with chickens and a massive cuddle bug. He’s been hanging out at our Berrima Sanctuary and has been an absolute delight.

Ryder loves to swim and loves a good game of fetch. He loves running around with other dogs but also doesn’t mind if he’s the only dog in his new home. He’s a very easy going guy. He previously lived with kids so he isn’t phased by a toddler meltdown or a baby crying. He also lived with 5 cats so doesn’t mind sharing his new home with some furry friends.

Since being at our Berrima Sanctuary he has met a number of our free range chickens and couldn’t care less about them. He’s shown us how great he is off leash and comes when you call him. He LOVES to cuddle up with us on the couch and will thrive in a home that lets him be involved with family adventures. He’s honestly such a gentleman and is one of a kind!

He was more of an outdoor dog in his last home so he did mark once or twice inside when he first arrived but after a quick correction and being taken straight outside, he hasn’t done it again. He picks things up quick!
