🐾 Daisy is back on her paws! 🐾

Daisy recently had surgery to correct a luxating patella, a condition where the kneecap slips out of place, causing discomfort, limping, and a funny little skip when walking.

The surgery helps keep the kneecap tracking where it should, making the knee more stable and comfortable.

We're thrilled to see Daisy recovering so well and feeling more like herself every day! 💕 With lots of rest, cuddles, and TLC from her family, she's making fantastic progress.

Keep up the great work, Daisy! We can't wait to see you back to all your favourite activities. 🐶✨

🌧️❄️ Winter Has Arrived! ❄️🌧️

One minute it's sunny, the next it's raining cats and dogs! While you're reaching for the puffer jacket, spare a thought for your four-legged family members too.

A few winter tips from Rainer and the team at the Furry Family Vet Clinic

🐾 Older pets can feel the cold just like we do. If your furry friend seems a little stiffer getting up in the morning, arthritis may be playing a role.

🐾 Keep bedding warm, dry, and away from draughts. Nobody enjoys a cold bed on a winter night!

🐾 Short-haired dogs, puppies, and senior pets may appreciate an extra blanket, or even a stylish coat for their walks.

🐾 Winter often means less exercise. Keep pets active with walks when the weather allows, and include plenty of games, training, and enrichment indoors and out of the cold.

🐾 Watch out for muddy paws! Besides keeping the floors cleaner, a quick wipe-down is a good opportunity to check for cuts, grass seeds, and sore skin.

🐾 Enjoy the extra snuggle time on the couch with your pet!

This little girl had a very sore tooth 😔 But thankfully, her dedicated owners realised something was wrong, and our vets were able to quickly remove the source of her pain and give her a fresh smile 🥰

This week, we are celebrating our incredible surgery nurse, Sina!

Not only is Sina an exceptionally hard-working, dedicated nurse and mother, she is also taking on the Coastrek Beyond Blue challenge to help raise funds and awareness for mental health 💙

Sina is one of the kindest souls you could meet, always showing compassion to both our patients and her teammates, no matter how busy the day gets 😻
