The answer is… myth! Indoor cats do still need annual vaccinations😺

Preventative care for your pets is the best way to keep them happy and healthy.

Indoor cats still require annual vaccinations to protect them from serious diseases.

Cats can pick up infectious diseases not just through direct contact with other infectious cats. But contact with infected environments as well. Disease causing viruses and bacteria can travel inside the home on shoes, clothing and other pets.

If your cat is vaccinated and becomes infected with a virus, it means that their immune system will be better able to deal with the disease and make a faster recovery.

Are your pet’s microchip details up to date?
Did you know that it is the Owner’s legal obligation to keep these details current?

Keeping your pet’s microchip details up to date is critical!
If your pet gets lost, a microchip without current details is useless and means that vet clinics and shelters cannot get in contact with you about your pets if they are found.
Without up-to-date microchip details, your pets may end up in local Council shelters or rehomed if lost instead of being safely returned home to you!

How to Check & Update Your Pet’s Microchip Details:
🐾 Find Your Pet’s Microchip Number: Check your adoption papers, vet records or come into the clinic so we can scan your pet for their microchip number.
🐾 Search the Registry: Enter the microchip number on Pet Address to see which national database your pet is registered with (e.g. Central Animal Records, Australasian Animal Registry, etc.).
🐾 Log In & Edit Your Details: Visit the database's website, log in with your account details and update your contact details
