🐾💕 LET US FORMALLY INTRODUCE YOUR PETS OF THE WEEK… ROSIE & ROOSTER!!!

We told you Rosie likes to be held like a baby… but we thought we’d SHOW you! 💕🎶 This girl has one request for her future adopters: please keep rocking me like a baby and singing to me! 🥰🎵

And then there’s Rooster! 🐾❤️ This brave little boy is learning that his big, brand-new world might not be so scary after all. He especially loves following around his current favorite human, Matt! He has one little request of his own: please be patient with me as I learn to be brave and find my confidence. Just look at what I can become when I learn to trust you… your very own little shadow. ❤️

Rosie and Rooster are just 5 MONTHS OLD and were surrendered in hopes that we could help them find loving forever homes. They do NOT need to be adopted together, as they are not bonded. They may also do well with another dog already in the home, with proper introductions. 🐶💕
These babies have so much love to give, and we don't want them to spend any longer here than they have to. They deserve to grow up in homes of their own, surrounded by love, patience, and security.

🐾💙 HAPPY VET TECH APPRECIATION WEEK!

This week, we want to take a moment to thank all the amazing veterinary technicians who work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep our animals happy, healthy, and feeling their best. We are so lucky to have people who dedicate their lives to caring for animals, and we are especially lucky to have our very own Anne! 🐾❤️

Anne has been with us for over 20 years and has spent many of those years as our vet tech, making sure every animal in our care gets the love and medical attention they deserve.

💙 She makes sure everyone is well taken care of.

💊 She ensures our animals receive the appropriate medications and treatments.

🐾 She is often the first point of contact when one of our animals isn’t feeling well.

❤️ She pays attention to the little things and makes sure no one goes without the care they need.

But what makes Anne truly special goes beyond her knowledge and experience. Her dedication to her job and, most importantly, to the animals is something that comes from within. It’s the kind of compassion you can’t teach. It’s something you just have. ❤️

Anne, thank you for everything you do for our shelter animals, day in and day out. After more than 20 years of dedication, we hope you know just how much you mean to us and to every animal whose life you’ve touched. Our little shelter is truly a better place because our animals are in such good hands. 🐾

To Anne and all the veterinary technicians out there who give so much of themselves to care for animals, we see you, we appreciate you, and we are so grateful for you!

This is more than a 5K. It’s a chance to come together as a community and help WARL get a van that will allow us to transport animals to veterinary appointments, deliver pet food and supplies to community members in need, and bring our outreach supplies wherever they need to go. 🚐🐾

We can’t wait to see everyone dressed in their Halloween best! 👻🎃 Whether you’re running, walking, bringing your pup, joining a team, or cheering everyone on, we’re so excited to share this day with you!

💕 Feel-Good Saturday: Fawn’s Happy Ending!

Sometimes, the happily ever after takes a little longer to find, but that doesn’t mean it’s any less beautiful. 🥹❤️

Remember Fawn, our sweet former Pet of the Week! Fawn has been settled in for frees now in her new home. Fawn is FeLV+, and while we knew finding her the perfect home would be a challenge, we never once believed it was hopeless. This girl deserved her chance at a life filled with love, comfort, and someone to call her own. 🏡💗

And then, just like that, her person came along. 🥹 Her new world. Her new momma. The one who saw Fawn for the wonderful girl she is and opened her heart and home just for her.
With no other cats in the home, Fawn gets to be the center of someone’s entire world, soaking up all the love, attention, and happiness she deserves. No more waiting for her person. No more wondering when her turn would come. Her turn is HERE. ❤️🐱

Fawn, we are SO incredibly happy for you, sweet girl! Your story is a beautiful reminder that even when the odds feel stacked against them, there is still hope. Sometimes, all it takes is one special person to change everything. 🥹💕

At this point, we’re pretty sure Merlin thinks he runs the place. And honestly? We’re not going to tell him otherwise.
