With temperatures soaring, our pups need a little extra care too! Here are a few simple ways to help keep your furry friends comfortable this summer:

💧 Keep them hydrated — Make sure fresh, clean water is always available.

🌳 Limit outdoor time — Try walks and outdoor activities during the cooler parts of the day, and be careful with hot pavement.

🛁 Keep their coat clean & maintained — Regular baths and brushing help remove loose fur, dirt, and buildup and keep the coat in good condition.

✂️ Keep up with grooming — A well-maintained coat is more comfortable for your pup. However, avoid shaving double-coated breeds unless recommended by a professional or veterinarian.

❤️ Watch for signs of overheating — Heavy panting, excessive drooling, weakness, vomiting, confusion, or unusual behavior can be signs of heatstroke. If you suspect heatstroke, seek veterinary care immediately.
