Well… this wasn’t the news any of us expected. 💚

Tractor Supply has made the decision to close our Petsense location, along with many others. Even though I’ve only been with Petsense for the last couple of months, I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who has trusted me with their pets during that time. To every client who booked with me, recommended me, or simply stopped by to say hello—thank you. Your support has meant so much as I’ve continued learning and growing as a groomer. The good news is that this isn’t the end of my grooming journey. I’ll be finishing out our remaining time at Petsense, and I’ll be sharing where I’ll be grooming next as soon as everything is finalized. I hope I’ll get to continue seeing all of your wonderful pups! Thank you for all the love and support. It means the world to me, and I can’t wait to see what this next chapter brings. 🐾❤️

Meet Jelly Bean, the sweetest little cloud with one very big coat. 🤍

Summer has been especially hard on this gorgeous Samoyed because she hadn’t started blowing her coat out and it had become incredibly compacted. This wasn’t a one-and-done groom—it was the first step in getting her back to feeling comfortable again.

Baby girl checked in at 11:30 and didn’t head home until 5:00. 😮‍💨

Today’s spa day included:
🫧 Deep conditioning to help loosen compacted undercoat
🫧 Dematting treatment
🫧 Two deshedding shampoo baths
🫧 Another deep conditioning soak
🫧 Hours of high-velocity drying
🫧 More brushing than I think my arms have ever experienced. 😂

The drying process alone took me about 3½ hours, and honestly… the brushing took even longer.

Was she absolutely perfect when we finished? Nope—and that’s okay.

Sometimes the best thing you can do for a dog is know when to stop before they become exhausted. Grooming isn’t about chasing perfection in one appointment. It’s about doing what’s best for the dog and creating a plan that sets them up for success.

Jelly Bean has already booked her next deshed in 4 weeks, and together we’ll continue working through that compacted coat until she’s back to the fluffy, healthy Samoyed she’s meant to be. Regular maintenance will make every appointment easier on her and help keep her cool and comfortable through Florida’s heat. ☀️❄️

Through every tug, every brush stroke, and every blast from the dryer, this sweet girl stayed so patient with me. She truly was a little trooper, and I’m so excited to watch her transformation over the next few visits. 🤍
Now if you’ll excuse me… I’m pretty sure my arms are filing a complaint after today’s workout. 💪😂

Okay… I think I’m officially addicted to Labradors.

They have the sweetest puppy-dog eyes, the biggest goofy smiles, and somehow every single one thinks they’re a tiny lap dog. 😂

Koga came in today for his spa day to get all handsome for his Fourth of July celebrations, and he made sure to pay me in the best currency possible—lots of sloppy Lab kisses. 💋🐾

He was such a good boy from start to finish, and can we PLEASE appreciate how gorgeous that chocolate coat is after a good deshed and bath?!

It’s dogs like Koga that remind me why I fell in love with grooming in the first place. Happy Fourth of July, sweet boy! ❤️🤍💙

P.S. At this rate, I’m going to end up saying every Labrador is my favorite… and honestly, I’m okay with that. 🥹🐾

☀️ Meet Bo! ☀️

Bo, a sweet senior Boxer, came in after spending a little too much time enjoying his summer adventures. Mom said he was definitely due for a spa day… and she wasn’t wrong! 😂🫧

Out came the deodorizing shampoo and my trusty scrubby gloves to wash away all that “I’ve been living my best life” smell. Between sneaking kisses and wiggling his whole back end every time I told him he was the best boy, Bo made my job so easy to love. ❤️

After his bath, I treated him to a nourishing conditioner to help restore moisture and keep his short coat soft, healthy, and shiny after all his outdoor fun.

🐾 Breed Spotlight: Boxer

Despite their short coats, Boxers still benefit from routine grooming! Regular baths help remove dirt, allergens, and excess oils while keeping their skin healthy. Originally bred as working dogs, they’re known for being loyal, intelligent, playful, and full of personality… and yes, the famous Boxer wiggle is absolutely real. 🥹

Bo reminded me that growing older doesn’t mean slowing down. He may be a senior, but he’s still living life with a happy heart, a wagging nub, and plenty of kisses to give. 💙

I’m a Grooming Technician currently working toward becoming a Certified Professional Pet Groomer, and I couldn’t be more excited to be building a career doing what I love most: caring for animals.

I believe grooming is so much more than making pets look cute. It’s about building trust, recognizing changes in a pet’s skin and coat, creating a positive experience, and helping every animal leave feeling comfortable, confident, and cared for.

One thing you’ll quickly learn about me is that I believe education in grooming never truly ends. There is always a new technique to master, a breed to learn more about, or a better way to care for our pets.

My goals don’t stop with dog grooming. After earning my professional certification, I hope to continue my education in feline grooming, then pursue equine grooming so I can expand my knowledge and work with even more incredible animals. I’m also passionate about learning creative and Asian Fusion grooming techniques, combining precision, artistry, and breed-specific styling to continue growing my skills.

Overjoyed is an understatement today when this sweet girl came in for her deshed spa day! 💗
This is my second time having the honor of grooming Scarlett, and I’m quickly falling in love with all of her adorable little quirks. During her bath she leans into me the entire time for cuddles, and every time she spots someone walking by outside the salon she does the funniest little thing—she pulls her gums back into the cutest goofy grin. 😂
Scarlett is a Shiba Inu, a breed known for their intelligence, confidence, big personalities, and gorgeous plush double coats. Keeping up with regular desheds helps remove loose undercoat, keeps their coat healthy, and can make a huge difference in the amount of fur floating around your home!
Maybe it’s my inner Pokémon trainer, but I have a goal of grooming every dog breed someday. Every new face teaches me something different, and I can’t wait to keep sharing this journey with all of you.

I spent my whole day buried in fluff and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. 😂

First up was handsome Coco, who was so relaxed during his bath that I swear he almost fell asleep in the tub. Then there was Oakleigh, who had approximately zero concept of personal space and spent his entire appointment trying to give out kisses. 💕 And last but definitely not least was Sugar Bear, whose coat was an absolute dream. It was so soft and beautiful, and you can tell Mom does an amazing job keeping up with all that hair!

My arms are tired, my clothes are covered in fur, and I somehow still have doodle hair on me, but days like today make me so happy. 🥹

Dexter came in for his spa day and spent the entire appointment trying not to trip over his own ears. 😂🐾

From giving me the saddest “please don’t make me take a bath” eyes in the tub to showing off his adorable little tongue blep once he was all cleaned up, this silly Basset boy had me laughing the whole time.

He may be low to the ground, but his personality is larger than life. ❤️ Long ears, short legs, and enough charm to get away with absolutely anything. I think he was convinced I had personally betrayed him during bath time… but judging by that adorable face and ice cream bandana, I’d say all was forgiven by the end of his spa day. 🥹🍦

Who’s going to tell Dexter that those ears aren’t actually trying to sabotage him? 😂🐶🛁

Can I get an AWOO WOO?! 🐺🐾

Because ✨Obi✨has opinions and he’s not afraid to share them. 😂 This happy boy has so much personality packed into that adorable little body that he practically wiggles from nose to tail the entire time he’s here. Every woof, tail wag, and goofy grin reminds me why I love what I do.

Obi stopped by for his usual spa day and got the full VIP treatment with his favorite deshed package to help keep that sleek coat looking its best. After his bath, blow dry, and brush out, he strutted out in his adorable bandana, handing out happy pup woofs and soaking up all the attention like the star he knows he is. ✨

Honestly, I’m convinced Obi believes the salon exists solely for him to make new friends and show off his smile. 🥹🖤

I treated them to our odor-eliminating shampoo to wash away all the fun they’d been having and followed up with a hydrating conditioner to leave their coats feeling soft, healthy, and refreshed.
