Pet Spotlight: Olive the Basset Hound

Olive stole everyone's heart the moment she walked through our doors.

After ingesting an Autumn Crocus bulb, Olive became critically ill and spent several nights in our ICU receiving intensive treatment and care. During her stay, she quickly became a favorite among our team, winning over everyone she met with her sweet personality and lovable spirit.

Months later, we received the update that every veterinary team hopes for. Olive's family shared:

"Throughout the ups and downs of Olive's stay and her follow up visits, we became uniquely aware of the complexity of BEVS operation. Hours in the waiting room gave us the opportunity to observe the constant emergencies and challenges they dealt with every day. For each person you engage with face to face, there are several more working behind the scenes. They expertly prioritize urgency and focus where they are needed most. While they are caring for your pet, they are helping someone else say goodbye to theirs. Our experience occurred 6 months ago and we have even greater insight into the profound level of caring, empathy and effort from the BEVS team."

Our staff members have generously donated a variety of items that will be available for sale by donation. All proceeds will go directly to the Hannah Foundation. Every contribution, big or small, will help support a cause that is very close to our hearts.

This event is being held in honor of Hannah's memory, with all proceeds helping to continue her legacy while assisting in the care of animals in need.
