We started in a mobile home community within Holland, MI, and developed what we called (for lack of a better term): "Phaedra's Pherals". We supported the feral community that Phaedra was born into, by giving them food, shelter, and medical care. If left up to the management of the park, the cats would have been trapped and dispatched of. Most of that community lives on Social Security, Disability, or unemployment, which is what makes this task of helping so daunting and why we are in need of assistance. We have saved many feral kittens, seven of which are blind, and hope to be able to continue saving them and getting them in a TNR Program (trap, neuter, release). Anyone wanting to help "donate", we have two ways people can donate:

Tried to record the boys last night to show how Beetle whines and yips at Tripley until he gives up the toy he has, however the second Tripley saw the reflection of my camera flash… they exploded like we were under attack! 😹🐶😹🐶😹

When Tripley’s back leg was amputated, they did not use a lot of his hip skin… they stretched his belly skin over the area, which is thinner.
Today Beetle took off on their lead so fast that he dragged Tripley across the sidewalk and his nubbin spot is now all raw. Usually it’s just a little irritated, well not today! Thankfully, I have salve to put on it when they finally decide to quit playing and lie down again. I was lucky enough to get two minutes to take the picture before they were off and running again.

Have you ever freaked out about one of your animals, even when you know you’re 99% sure everything is fine????
Today on my way to work, I was singing along to the radio and suddenly heard a cat meow!!! It sounded just like Pinky and even though I knew she was not in the car, there was tiny piece of doubt.
Called home and as luck had it… she decided to not make her presence known as Fred called and called and shook food and treats. After a bit of discussion I decided to relax because she had to be at the house.
Out of curiosity I rewound the song and found out the noise was IN THE SONG!!! I played that section six times and six times the note sounded like Pinky!!! 🤣

Aurora and Tadpole were hungry hungry hippos this morning!! ❤️Their room is getting cleaned out and rearranged this week...

We had a gorgeous visitor yesterday. Don’t know who he is or where he belongs, but he stopped to sniff and explore the garage before running from momma (he’s faster). Trip and Beetle were inside and never even smelled him or heard him outside their door. Hopefully, this baby found his way back home!
