Our ranch offers rustic, natural backdrops with plenty of personality—and you can make your session even more memorable by adding one of our animals! 🐴🐐🐮🐷🐰🐑🫏

🐑💥 ONLY AT KODA RANCH… 💥🐑

Well folks… add “got absolutely taken OUT by a sheep” to the list of things I never thought I’d be saying. 😂🤦‍♀️

We were trying to separate the sheep and alpaca when apparently one of the sheep chose VIOLENCE. 😂 She came at me full force, straight into my knee, and took me completely off my feet.

And when I say she took me out…

SHE. TOOK. ME. OUT. 💀🐑

One ER trip later and apparently the sheep did a pretty decent job. I have an MCL sprain and an injury to my patellar tendon, so my knee is currently VERY unhappy with me.

And apparently my knee wasn’t the only casualty. 🤦‍♀️ I am bruised EVERYWHERE. Both feet are bruised, my body looks like I got thrown into a WWE match with a farm animal… and I’m STILL finding new bruises. 😂 Every time I look down I’m like, “Well, where the heck did THAT one come from?!” 🫠

I’m now rocking a very fashionable knee stabilizer, have extremely limited mobility, and will be calling Monday to get in with an orthopedic surgeon to find out exactly what kind of trouble Miss Sheep managed to cause.

Because apparently THREE storms tearing up the ranch wasn’t enough excitement for one summer…

2026 said:
🌪️ Storm.
🌪️ Another storm.
🌪️ ANOTHER storm.
🔨 Rebuild.
🐑 RELEASE THE SHEEP.

At this point, I’m afraid to ask what’s next. 😂

So if you see me hobbling around Koda Ranch covered in bruises… mind your business. 🤣🤣

Through the animals, the babies, the laughs, the crazy ranch days, the heartbreaks, the storms, the rebuilding, and every adventure in between — YOU HAVE BEEN HERE. 🖤🩷

Well… storm #3 has officially hit Koda Ranch. 💔⛈️

I don’t even know how to put into words what it feels like to walk outside and see more damage, more destruction, and more pieces of our ranch scattered across the property.

Three storms.

Three times we’ve looked around at everything we’ve worked so hard to build and wondered, How much more can this place take?

Every time we start getting ahead… every time we repair something, clean up the mess, replace what was destroyed, and finally start feeling like ourselves again—the weather comes through and knocks us right back down.

And this time, I’m tired.

I’m frustrated.

I’m heartbroken.

It honestly feels like Koda Ranch is being completely removed piece by piece. 😢

But then I look at our animals. I look at everything this ranch has become. I think about the kids who light up when they walk through our gates, the families we’ve met, our boarders, our friends, and this incredible Koda family that continues to stand behind us.

And I remember exactly why we keep fighting. 🐴🩷

So here we go again…

We’ll pick up the panels.

We’ll fix the fences.

We’ll rebuild the shelters.

We’ll clean up the mess.

And somehow, someway, we will put Koda Ranch back together AGAIN.

Because a storm can destroy buildings, fences and shelters—but it cannot destroy what we’ve built here.

Storm #3 hit us HARD… but Koda Ranch is still here. 💪🐴

Right now, we could use all the love, prayers, positive thoughts, good vibes and support you can send our way.

To everyone who has checked on us, helped us, supported us, shared our story or simply reminded us to keep going—thank you. More than you know. 🩷

🐐🐷🐴 LITTLE TREATS = BIG SMILES! 🐮🐑💕

We’re SO excited about one of the newest additions to the Koda Ranch petting zoo — our treat dispensers! 🎉

For just 25¢ a turn, you can grab a little handful of treats and make one of our Koda Kritters VERY happy. 😂❤️ And trust us… they already know exactly what those machines mean when they see you walking toward them!

💔 In Loving Memory of Cookie — Our Sweet Little Cookie Monster 💔

This darn goat somehow became one of the biggest personalities and most loved little soul at Koda Ranch.

Cookie wasn’t just a goat. She was part of our everyday lives. She was personable, hilarious, stubborn, loving, and completely unforgettable. She would sit beside you like she belonged there, walk right up and give you kisses, yell at you when she had something to say, and carry on an entire conversation with you. I swear sometimes that goat could actually laugh. 😂❤️

And then there were the car rides. 😂 Cookie absolutely LOVED being in the car. One of our boarders spent time with her every single day and would take her for rides around the ranch. Seeing Cookie standing in a vehicle like she owned it became completely normal around here.

She knew her people. She loved attention. She loved being involved in absolutely everything. And, of course, being the Cookie Monster she was, she loved her treats. 🍪🐐

Finding her passed away unexpectedly has completely broken my heart. There was no warning and no chance to prepare ourselves to say goodbye. Our entire Koda Ranch family is hurting because Cookie truly was one of those animals who left a mark on everyone who knew her.

The ranch is going to feel different without hearing her yell at us, seeing her wandering around looking for her people, getting surprise kisses, or wondering what ridiculous thing Cookie has gotten herself into now.

This one is hard. Really, really hard. 💔

Eat every treat you can find in heaven, little Cookie Monster. 🍪🌈

Thank you for all the laughs, kisses, car rides, conversations, and memories.

You were so incredibly loved, Cookie.

And oh man… are we going to miss seeing that sweet, silly face every single day.

This has been a dream in the making, built from our love for animals, our community, and the belief that these incredible critters can make a real difference in people’s lives.

Koda's Kritters is coming soon, and we cannot wait to share more about our mission, the animals, the programs we are working toward, and all the ways our community will be able to get involved. ❤️

What started as Koda Ranch continues to grow into something bigger than we ever imagined, and we are beyond excited for this next chapter.
