🚨 GINA DESPERATELY NEEDS A FOSTER. WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF OPTIONS, AND BOARDING IS THE LAST PLACE SHE SHOULD BE. 💔

We have shared Gina's story, pleaded for help, and hoped someone would step forward. Unfortunately, we still have no placement for this sweet girl, and if we cannot find one, we will have no choice but to put her into boarding.
And for Gina, this is absolutely NOT a good option. 💔
This is a dog who spent much of her young life chained up and horribly neglected, followed by time in a shelter. She has only recently begun to understand what it means to feel safe, loved and cared for. Thanks to her wonderful foster mom, Jeannie, she is making incredible progress.

Gina has gained weight, her fur looks so much healthier, and her confidence is growing. Jeannie describes her as a fantastic dog who is incredibly smart and learning so quickly.
She's housebroken and has even started letting Jeannie know when she needs to go outside. She doesn't bark, takes treats ever so gently, and is becoming more comfortable with the people around her.
She's still nervous and needs reassurance, but she's getting braver every day. She's still a little shy around Jeannie's male roommate, but even that is improving. She's slowly learning to trust him, too, and it's wonderful to see her confidence growing.
For a dog who has known so little kindness, this progress means everything. ❤️
And that is why we are so desperate to keep Gina out of boarding. After everything she's been through, the thought of taking her from a loving home and placing her in a kennel, where she could lose so much of the confidence she's worked so hard to gain, is heartbreaking.
GINA IS JUST 1½ YEARS OLD AND 36 POUNDS. SHE HAS SO MUCH LIFE AHEAD OF HER.
WHAT GINA NEEDS:
🐾 A home WITHOUT CATS. Unfortunately, this is why she cannot remain in her current foster home.
🐾 Gina has done well with some dogs but can be selective, so introductions need to be slow and carefully managed. A home where she can be the only dog would also be wonderful.
🐾 A patient, understanding foster who will give her time to settle in and continue building trust.
🐾 Someone who will appreciate just how far this sweet girl has come and help her continue moving forward.
Our rescue will provide support every step of the way.
We are already overwhelmed with medical expenses and boarding costs for other animals in our care. Taking on another boarding expense is something we simply cannot afford. But even more importantly, we don't want Gina to lose the progress she's made just when she's finally beginning to enjoy life.
PLEASE, CAN SOMEONE OPEN THEIR HOME TO GINA? 🙏❤️
We cannot keep her in her current foster home because of the cats, and we are running out of time. We need someone willing to give this wonderful young dog a chance.

Gina has already spent too much of her young life without the love and security every dog deserves. She's finally getting a chance to experience both. Please help us make sure boarding isn't where she ends up next. 💔
