🐾🎉 HAPPY NATIONAL DOG DAY! 🎉🐾

Today we’re celebrating the four-legged family members who make us laugh, test our patience, steal our spots on the couch, leave hair on absolutely everything we own, and somehow convince us that *we’re* the lucky ones. ❤️🐶

And because we’re dog trainers, we have to give a special shoutout to the dogs who have taught us just as much as we’ve taught them. Every stubborn moment, breakthrough, challenge, and success reminds us why we love what we do.

Give your dog an extra belly rub, throw the ball one more time, take the long walk, and maybe even let them have the good treat today. 🦴

👇 Now we want to see YOUR dogs! Drop a photo in the comments and tell us their name—we fully intend to spend an unreasonable amount of time looking at them. 😂

Happy National Dog Day from all of us at **Best Friend’s Dog Training!** 🐾❤️

🐾 Dog Trivia of the Day! 🐾

Corgis may be small, but they were built for a BIG job! 🐶

Originally bred as herding dogs in Wales, their short stature helped them move quickly around cattle, nip at their heels, and avoid getting kicked. Pretty smart design for such a compact little dog!

It’s one more reminder that every breed has a history, a purpose, and traits that still show up in their behavior today.

So the next time your corgi tries to herd the family around the house… just know they may be taking their job very seriously. 😂

Do you have a corgi, or know one with a larger-than-life personality? Tell us about them in the comments! 👇
