Dear Friends of Fat Cat:

My name is Ben, and I am a member of Scouts BSA Troop 671 based out of Wildwood, Illinois. I am excited to share that I am working toward the rank of Eagle Scout and am partnering with Fat Cat Rescue for my project.

I have been a cat lover all my life. My family currently has three cats and has always adopted from shelters and rescues. I know how important it is to help cats who need homes and a safe place.

I have met with Kaye and we have come up with a plan for me to make cat feeding stations, built to her specifications, so that the outdoor cats at Fat Cat will have a safe space to eat that protects them and the food from other animals and the elements. I will coordinate all work on the construction of these feeding stations, which will be constructed off-site this summer and brought to Fat Cat by the fall.

This is where you come in!

Although I am coordinating the labor for this project, materials, as you know, are not cheap. Our goal is to make 20 cat feeding stations, which is going to cost just over $1,400 for the correct type of wood and materials that will be able to withstand the elements for a long time.

Any additional funds raised will be donated back to Fat Cat.

Happy Adoption Day, Yoshi! ❤️

Today, sweet Yoshi headed home with her new mom, and we could not be happier for this adorable little girl.

A huge thank you goes to her foster mom, Kat, for helping Yoshi grow from a tiny kitten into the happy, healthy girl she is today. Fosters make these happy endings possible, and we are so grateful for everything Kat did for her.

🌙 Moon Babies Update: All Adopted! 🌙

What a wonderful ending for our Moon Babies litter! We are so happy to share that every one of these special kittens has found a loving forever home.

✨ Blue is now Harley
✨ Harvest is now Hades
✨ Luna is now Cleopatra
✨ Crescent and Eclipse were adopted together and get to continue their journey side by side

These kittens were born in foster care after their mama, T**i, was rescued from life on the streets. Thanks to the care, dedication, and love of their foster dad, Trevor, they grew from tiny newborns into happy, healthy kittens ready for families of their own.

A huge thank you to Trevor for opening his home and heart to this sweet family and helping them every step of the way. Fostering truly changes lives.

We would also like to thank each of their wonderful adoptive families for choosing rescue and giving these kittens the bright futures they deserve.

Happy lives, little moon babies. We can't wait to see all the adventures ahead for Harley, Hades, Cleopatra, Crescent, and Eclipse!

Well... we might have a tiny problem. 😂

We have four adorable black kittens, and they all look exactly alike!

Meet Coco, Carlos, Rafael, and Jannik, four sweet siblings born around 4/6/26 who are now looking for their forever homes. While we may need a name tag to tell them apart, each one is full of all the kitten cuteness you could ask for.

These little house panthers are growing fast and spending their days doing important kitten business: playing, exploring, eating, napping, and being absolutely adorable.

Black cats are often overlooked, but anyone who has loved one knows how special they are. These four are ready to bring a lifetime of companionship, entertainment, and love to their future families.

🌿 Meet Lotus's Little Garden Crew! 🌿

These five adorable kittens were born on April 21 and are growing up fast!

🌱 Fern - Female tuxedo with the cutest little mustache
🌱 Finn - Male tuxedo with an adorable pink nose
🌱 Willow - Female brown tabby
🌱 Ash - Gray male (pre-adopted)
🌱 Sage - Gray and white male (pre-adopted)

We're especially excited to share that Ash and Sage have already been pre-adopted by their foster mom, Jessica! We love a good foster fail story, and these lucky boys won't have to go far to find their forever home. ❤️

That means Fern, Finn, and Willow are now accepting pre-adoption applications and are looking for families of their own!

Daphne raised her babies. Now it is finally her turn. 💕

This beautiful mama just finished nursing her preemie kittens, and every single one of them is pending adoption. Daphne has been such an incredible mom, and now she is ready for a forever family of her own.

Her foster, Roman, says she is one of the sweetest cats he has ever met. She always wants to be in the same room with him, greets him at the door, and loves being rubbed and petted. She is the kind of cat who wants to be part of your daily life and close to her people whenever possible.

Daphne was recently spayed and microchipped and is estimated to be around 2 years old. She is officially ready for her happy ending.

Freya got her happy ending. ❤️

This sweet girl had a rough start to life. At only around 6 months old, she was already trying to survive on the streets while raising kittens of her own. Thankfully, she made her way into foster care where she finally got the chance to be safe, loved, and cared for.

And now? Freya has been adopted by a wonderful man who completely fell in love with her. We could not be happier for this beautiful girl and the fresh start ahead of her.

Freya says it all herself here. She looks like she’s smiling. 😊

A huge thank you to both Samantha and Meagan for fostering Freya and helping her along her journey to a forever home. Because of fosters, cats like Freya get the second chance they deserve.

Bud went home today!! ❤️

This sweet boy may have started out shy, but he quickly stole hearts with his playful personality and love for attention. We are so happy Bud found his forever home with his new dad.

Cabs are here… and so are the kittens.

Meet our Jersey Shore litter, born right in foster care on 4/16/26. This crew has been living the good life with snacks, naps, zoomies, and plenty of GTL… Grooming, Toys, and Lounging.

Mike, Snookie, Vinny, and JWoww are all pending adoption, but sweet little Pauly is still looking for his forever home.

Pauly may be the runt of the litter, but he makes up for his small size with a huge personality. This gray little guy is super sweet, loves attention, and is ready to bring nonstop entertainment and cuddles to his future family.
