Fat Cat Rescue Our vision is a community where every animal is cared for. Visiting our sanctuary is by appointment only. Thank you!

FAT CAT RESCUE is a 501C3 licensed rescue for all types of animals who are lucky enough to come through our doors. We have received our 501C3 non-profit tax status and now all donations are tax deductible. When cats come to us they may be sick and skinny, but by the time we've loved them up they have become Fat Cats with healthy bodies, higher self esteem, greater trust in humans and a joy of living they haven't experienced in a long time if ever. So when we call a cat "Fat" we mean healthy and happy in every way possible.

🌸 Meet Mama Poppy's Little Garden of Kittens! 🌸

Something wonderful has been growing in one of our foster homes!

On September 12, Mama Poppy welcomed five adorable little blossoms into the world, and they're now ready to start accepting pre-adoption inquiries!

🌿 Bamboo – Male Tabby

These little sprouts are still very young and have lots of growing to do before they're ready to head to their forever homes. But we couldn't wait to introduce them!

And what about Mama Poppy? We've been told she's an absolute beauty! She's not quite ready for her big debut yet, but she'll be making an appearance on our adoption page soon, so stay tuned!

🌟 Jupiter Has Found Her Forever Orbit!🪐

Our sweet Jupiter went home yesterday, and that means all three of Mama Star’s little planets have officially found their forever homes!

First Pluto, then Saturn, and now Jupiter! This adorable black and white girl was the last of her siblings waiting for her happily ever after, and we couldn't be more excited that her turn finally came!

A HUGE thank-you to her wonderful fosters, Samantha and Danny, for opening their hearts and home to this little family. Your love and dedication helped give these babies the very best start in life, and we are so grateful!

Congratulations to Jupiter and her new family! We wish you a lifetime of love, cuddles, and adventures together.

Happy tails, sweet girl!

🐾 October 16 is National Feral Cat Day!

At Fat Cat Rescue, this day is especially close to our hearts because providing sanctuary and compassionate care for feral cats is at the heart of our mission.

Our sanctuary is home to a special place we affectionately call “Kitty City!” It's a large, protected outdoor space where our feral residents can safely roam, relax, and enjoy their own little community, complete with plenty of cozy cat houses! And for those who prefer indoor comforts, our indoor spaces are always available, too.

Not every cat wants to curl up on someone's lap, and that's okay! We believe every cat deserves safety, dignity, and love, whether they're social butterflies or happiest keeping their distance.

Today, we're also raising awareness about Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), a humane approach to managing community cat populations and preventing unwanted litters.

Want to help feral and community cats? Here are some great resources!

A heartfelt thank you to our sanctuary volunteers, colony caregivers, rescuers, trappers, and everyone who advocates for cats who are so often overlooked.

Every cat deserves a place to belong, even if that place isn't someone's living room.

Please share to spread awareness and help us celebrate the wonderful feral cats who call Kitty City home! 🐈

🐾 300+ Hungry Kitties. One BIG Opportunity to Help!

We've found an AMAZING deal on Friskies Paté at Costco, and we need your help to stock our shelves!

With more than 300 cats and kittens in our care, we go through an incredible amount of wet food. This limited-time sale gives us the chance to stretch your donations further and purchase much-needed food in bulk.

Just $43 can help provide an entire case of 60 cans (includes fees)!

❤️ $43 sponsors 60 cans
❤️ $85 sponsors 120 cans
❤️ $127 sponsors 180 cans
❤️ $212 sponsors 300 cans

Even a few dollars makes a difference!

⏰ We need donations by OCTOBER 31!

The sale ends November 15, but we need time to coordinate purchases and pickups before the deal disappears.

You don't need a Costco membership to help! Just donate through our Givebutter food drive, and we'll handle the shopping.

DONATE HERE:
https://givebutter.com/fill-their-bowls-friskies-food-drive

A quick note about Givebutter, our campaign host: You are under absolutely no obligation to cover the campaign's processing fees or leave a tip for Givebutter. You can change BOTH amounts to $0 at checkout, and Fat Cat Rescue will still receive 100% of your intended donation!

Every can means another meal and another full belly for a rescued kitty.

Please donate and share! Let's fill those shelves while the savings last! 🐾
