Reminder to keep your pet safe while you guys are having fun this Fourth of July!

🇺🇸❤️ Happy 4th of July from everyone at Gray Animal Hospital! ❤️🇺🇸

As you celebrate with family and friends, don’t forget that fireworks can be frightening for our furry companions. Help keep your pets safe and comfortable by:

🐾 Keeping them indoors in a quiet, secure room.
🦺 Using a ThunderShirt or anxiety wrap if it helps calm them.
🦴 Offering frozen treats, puzzle toys, or a favorite chew to keep them distracted.
🎶 Playing calming music or turning on the TV to help mask the sound of fireworks.
🏡 Creating a cozy “safe space” with their favorite blanket or bed where they can relax.
🚪 Make sure all doors, gates, and windows are securely closed, and check that your pet is wearing an ID tag in case they become startled and try to escape.
