I want to thank everyone who has sent a little love our way, checked in, and made sure we have food and support ❤️
I am healing up well post-surgery. I'm still really sore and have a lot of restriction with movement, but the 24/7 pain I was experiencing prior to having the lipoma near my lower spine removed, is gone. I'll take any win I can get. I am hopeful that by Thursday I can resume my regular schedule, but we'll just have to play it by ear. I'm easing into it by hosting dogs for a daily playgroup at the Inn. Today, Copper checked in for his week-long stay, and Daisy & Cooper are here to bring some fun into the house today.
Thanks to everyone for being so understanding & flexible while we navigate this recovery & the overwhelming grief we'll be experiencing for some time after suddenly losing the absolute light of our lives, Butler. Your kindness is very appreciated and helps make things ever so slightly more manageable.
