🚨 THESE were removed from one patient this week. 🚨

Bladder stones in pets are more common than many people realize, and some can grow silently over time until they become extremely painful or even life-threatening.

Signs your pet may have bladder stones or a urinary blockage:
🐾 Straining to urinate.
🐾 Frequent trips outside or to the litter box.
🐾 Blood in the urine.
🐾 Accidents in the house.
🐾 Crying or discomfort while urinating.
🐾 Excessive licking of the urinary area.
🐾 Small amounts of urine or inability to urinate at all.
🐾 Lethargy, vomiting, or loss of appetite.

A complete urinary blockage is an EMERGENCY and can become fatal quickly if left untreated.

Certain breeds, diets, chronic UTIs, dehydration, and genetics can increase the risk of stone formation. Routine exams, urinalysis, and X-rays can help catch these before they become severe.

If your pet is showing any urinary symptoms, do not wait. Early intervention can make all the difference. 🩺🐶🐱

Routine procedure… or so we thought 😅🦷

During a scheduled dental surgery today, everything was going smoothly—until we came across an unexpected surprise: a foreign object hidden deep in the treatment area. No prior symptoms, just quietly sitting there waiting to be discovered.

These are the moments that remind us how unpredictable dentistry can be. Even the most routine procedures can reveal something completely unexpected.

The good news: it was safely removed, the procedure continued without complications, and the patient is doing well 🙌

Takeaway? Trust the process, keep up with your pet’s dental visits, and don’t ignore recommended treatments - sometimes there’s more going on beneath the surface than meets the eye.
