I started my career training working breeds and protection dogs with a private training company, and at rescues on the West Coast. Then I progressed to Vermont, training under and alongside Tom Radford’s 20+ years of experience with police K-9s. I combine the police dog training techniques with my previous experience in my business today. Leash walking expectations! Simple first step. Do. Not. Allow. Your. Dog. To. pull. Lots of handlers hold on for dear life, leash back and allow the dog to rehearse the pulling behavior. That becomes the norm. Both human and dog aren’t having much fun. Sound familiar? Let us help!
