Hodgey was last seen this afternoon around S 28th W Ave and W 38th st.

He is a smaller guy weighing around 20 lbs. He should be wearing a light blue collar with his rabies tag.

Our days can be hard, but every person at Tulsa SPCA is deeply dedicated to our mission of improving the lives of not just dogs and cats, but also the people who love them.

We want you to know exactly who you’re supporting:
🐶 We are barrier-free. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience the companionship of a pet. We want to help people find pets and, just as importantly, keep people and their pets together.
🐱 We are NOT affiliated with the ASPCA. Although our names are similar, we are completely separate organizations. We do not receive ASPCA funding. We are supported entirely by donations and grants, meaning your donations stay right here in Tulsa.
🐶 We offer a low-cost clinic to the public. Anyone can use our clinic, whether you've adopted from us or not, and regardless of income. We offer services like spay/neuter and vaccines to help keep pets healthy and in their homes.

We can't do this work without you. ❤️

Fosters, we need you! 📣

Shanna, our Foster Coordinator, is here to announce the winners of our Clear the Shelter raffles!

Thank you so much to everyone who came out, supported us, and helped make Clear the Shelter such a success. We couldn’t do it without you!

But we still need your help.

We have a few dogs from the overpopulation case on Milfay Road who have been with us for quite some time. These babies have spent enough time in a shelter. They need to experience what it’s like to live in a home.

A foster home gives them a chance to decompress, learn what it means to be part of a family, and simply be a dog.

Clear the Shelter may be over, but our mission isn't! 🐾❤️

We are so thankful for all of the support and adoptions we had through our Clear the Shelter event. But we don't stop when August does. We keep going every day to get our animals out of our shelter and into loving homes.

All of these faces were available during Clear the Shelter but didn't find their families. We know they are out there!

These are just a few of our available animals, but we have many more. Stop by our shelter, take home a new family member, and add so much joy to your lives.

Update! She has been found!! 🥳

🚨 BE ON THE LOOKOUT! 🚨

Karah has gone missing around 4th Pl. & Yale. She is very nervous, so please do not approach her. If you see her, call us right away so we can help get her safely home.

We know we’ve shared a few lost dog posts recently, and we want to take a moment to remind everyone to give these adopters some grace.

Imagine going from living in a home or being out on the streets, to a shelter, and then into a brand-new home. That’s a lot of change for a dog to process. And unlike us, they can’t be told what’s happening or why their entire world has suddenly changed.

Accidents happen. The most important thing is getting these dogs safely back to their families.

If you’re adopting a dog, please remember to give them time, patience, and plenty of opportunities to adjust to their new surroundings. The first few days and weeks can be overwhelming, but with time, many dogs settle in and begin to feel safe and at home.

We adopted 119 animals this month!! 🥹❤️

And 27 of those adoptions happened just over the weekend! While we didn’t quite clear our shelter, we are SO grateful for everyone who stopped by, adopted, shared our posts, and supported us throughout Clear the Shelter.

We love Clear the Shelter and the way it brings our community and staff together for one very important goal: getting animals into loving homes.

And fun fact: a couple of our own staff members even adopted animals this month!We really do love these babies!
