Meet Sugar 🩷

Sugar came to us with her three siblings, and she’s the last one waiting for her family! She’s 2.5 years old, weighs 51 pounds, and is a total wiggle butt! 🥰

This girl has so much to love! She walks nicely on a leash, loves treats, enjoys getting brushed, and recently let us paint her nails pink and add a bow to her tail. 💅🎀 She’s been making great progress with our team and enjoys spending time outside her kennel, sniffing around and soaking up the sunshine.

You might notice Sugar has a shaved patch on her side from a wound, but it’s almost completely healed! She’s on the mend and ready to find her people.

All three of Sugar’s siblings have found their families, and now it’s her turn!

Can’t adopt right now? Consider fostering! Even a few days in a home can make a huge difference for a shelter dog like Sugar.

Come meet Sugar at Tulsa SPCA or apply to foster through our website!

‼️ Fosters, we need you! ‼️

We have some long-term shelter stays who would benefit so much from a little time in a home. ❤️

Even a night or two in foster care can help lower a dog's cortisol levels, reduce stress, and improve their overall quality of life. You don't have to commit long-term to make a big difference!

Head to our website to apply to foster and give a shelter dog a much-needed break!

Heartworms and parvo. Two words you never want to hear, especially together.

We have three heartworm-positive dogs and four puppies that tested positive for parvo 😭. All great dogs who now have to stay here while they heal from these illnesses.

Treating these illnesses comes with additional veterinary expenses, and donations help us continue providing this level of care to the animals who need us.

If you’d like to help, consider making a donation toward their treatment and recovery. Every contribution helps support the work we do for animals in our community.

❤️Every donation helps us give animals like these the care they need to heal and thrive.
