🐾💙 WHY NOT WEDNESDAY? LET’S FIGHT FOR THIS LITTLE LIFE. 💙🐾

This sweet 2-month-old puppy should be worrying about toys, treats, and finding the perfect cozy spot to nap, not fighting for his life against PARVO. 💔

Max is receiving ongoing emergency veterinary care, and the medical bill is climbing quickly. He needs continued treatment, monitoring, and support as he fights through this devastating illness.

🥕 MEET CARROT! Your next adventure buddy is waiting! 🐾❤️

Looking for a loyal companion who will keep you smiling and join you on all your adventures? Meet Carrot! 🧡

This intelligent girl loves playing with other dogs, going for walks, hiking, and playing tug-of-war! 🎾 She has a curious nature and a big personality. Just be warned… Carrot is SO smart that she can even open gates when she puts her mind to it! 😂🔓

One of our favorite things about Carrot? Her adorable head tilt when you talk to her! 🥹💕 She’s a wonderful companion who would thrive with an active family ready to include her in their daily adventures.

🐶 Dog-friendly: Yes!
🐱 Cat-friendly: Can do well with proper introductions.
👧 Kids: She hasn’t met any yet, but we suspect she could do well with them.

Carrot is ready to find her forever family! She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Plus, every Better World Rescue dog comes with COMPLIMENTARY group or private training to help set their new family up for success! 🎓🐾

💫 This wallflower is adorable. She’s shy in the stressful environment but blossoms into a playful, goofy girl when she’s outside playing with other dogs. She’s a big baby! Please consider Pebbles. Thank you!

Pebbles ( ) is a gorgeous black Labrador mix who is currently feeling timid and overwhelmed by the shelter environment. She and her kennel mate, Coco ( ), were brought in together as strays. They were found at a rural address, so it is possible they were abandoned there together.

🐕We took Pebbles and Coco out of their kennel to meet some friendly dogs. Initially, Pebbles remained completely still, staying as close to the ground as possible. However, with a little time, she opened up and even showed us some adorable play bows🥳 It was precious to see her face brighten and her true, sweet personality shine through. She’s LOVE.

Staff notes 📝 “will allow leashing, still needs time to get used to walking on leash. At this time, tries to flee when on leash. Very timid and scared in shelter but will allow handler to pet. Opened up in playgroup and with other dogs became playful.”

Don’t let the fact that Captain Hook is a tripod fool you—this boy doesn’t let anything slow him down! 🐾💪

Captain Hook is a ball of energy who loves playing, exploring, and making the most out of every adventure life has to offer. He especially enjoys playing with younger cats and does well with kids and dogs, too! ❤️

He may be missing a leg, but Captain Hook is definitely not missing any fun! 🥰 He’s ready to find a forever family that will love him for exactly who he is.

🚨 FOSTERS NEEDED — WE NEED HELP NOW! 🚨

We have 9 dogs needing new fosters ASAP, and without your help, several may have to go into boarding. 💔 Boarding is incredibly expensive, and those funds are desperately needed for the medical care and other needs of our rescue animals

Mika- 1 year old lab/husky mix. Dog/cat/kid friendly, timid around men.

Tucker- 1 year old German Shepherd mix, dog/cat/kid friendly

Yuji- 13 years old, staffy/lab mix. Best as your one and only.

Cesar- 5 months old, whipple/lab mix. cat/dog/kid friendly

Lumi- 10 years old/ blind pit mix. cat/dog/kid friendly

Kitana- 4 years old, pit mix, kid friendly.

🐾 Fostering is FREE! Better World Rescue covers all necessary vet visits and supplies. You provide the love, a safe place, and a chance for these deserving animals to thrive! ❤️

🚨 URGENT: LITTLE MAX NEEDS OUR HELP! 🚨

🆘 BETTER WORLD RESCUE NEEDS YOU! 🆘

Early this morning, the foster mom caring for our 2-month-old litter noticed that little Max was extremely lethargic. 🥺 She rushed him to the vet, where our worst fear became reality: MAX TESTED POSITIVE FOR PARVO. 💔

Max was immediately rushed to VEG in San Ramon, where he is receiving urgent medical care. We are praying with everything we have that we caught this deadly virus in time and that our precious little nugget can pull through. 🙏🐾

But we need your help. PARVO TREATMENT IS EXPENSIVE, and we also need to begin supportive care for the rest of Max's litter to help protect these babies.

As if our rescue wasn't already stretched thin, we're still recovering financially from Sissy being brutally mauled and Maddie's emergency surgery after swallowing a tennis ball that caused an obstruction. Now, another medical emergency has hit our rescue.

💔 We cannot do this alone.

Those facial expressions? That soft, fluffy fur? That BIG personality? 😍 Boone is ready to steal your heart and fill your home with laughter and love!

Boone has the BEST disposition and so much love to give. He's crate-trained, highly treat-motivated, and always ready for his next adventure! 🎾🐾

This handsome boy is still a puppy, so he'll need an active family to keep his mind busy and his tail wagging. Some of his favorite things include:
🐕 Playing with toys
🥾 Going on hikes and walks
💨 Playing a good game of chase
🦴 Earning yummy treats!
