Calhoun's Jewelers, one of this year's sponsors for 2026 Bone Appétit, has also donated a gorgeous custom dachshund pendant that will be featured in the live auction at our gala this Saturday evening!

We want to thank Calhoun's for their long-time support of the shelter through event sponsoring, auction item donations, and sponsoring pet adoption fees and adoptable cat microchips each month. Their deep compassion for animals shows through their unwavering dedication to our cause.

Even if you won't be in person at the event to bid in our live auction, there are TONS of wonderful items currently open for bidding in the online auction (closes at 8:30pm October 24th). Winners who aren't at Bone Appétit may pick up their winnings at the shelter the following day! 100% of winning bids are donations to help pets in need.

Homestead of Topeka is one of our sponsors for 2026 Bone Appétit!

Every sponsor brings us closer to our $130,000 goal for pets in need. ❤️🐾 This is our highest-earning fundraiser of the year, and it’s essential to help us continue caring for the 6,000 animals who cross our threshold annually.

Thank you, Homestead of Topeka, from adoptable kitten The Gromble and all of us at HHHS!

Time to give a shout out to 2026 Bone Appétit sponsor Azura Credit Union! They have donated over $50,000 to HHHS through the Community Impact Card since 2023. ❤️🐾

At HHHS we operate a low-cost spay/neuter/vaccination clinic for the public to help pet guardians of all income levels provide care for their animals. We also take in the lost and homeless dogs, cats, and pocket pets of Topeka and Shawnee County and work to reunite lost pets with their owners, provide medical and behavioral care to those who need it, and find new homes for the pets who have none to go back to. 🐶🐱🐰

Donations from the Community Impact Card help us continue to run all of these programs as we take in roughly 6,000 animals each year. We truly must thank each of YOU for your support.

If you haven't heard of Azura Credit Union's Impact Card Program before, check out more details in the comments to learn how you can help pets in need just by using your debit card!
