Grab some incredible, authentic pupusas and other bites from Emma's Pupusas & Mexican Food tonight! We're hosting a modified Food Truck Night Lite to prioritize safety in the heat.

The essentials:

Date & Time: Today, September 4th from 4 PM – 8 PM

Location: HHHS (Extra parking on the west side)

Where to Eat: No outdoor seating this month, but our Hill's Education Center will be open with sweet air conditioning, or you can take your food to go.

Adoptions & Deals: Stay late for adoptions until 8 PM. Take advantage of the ASPCA Rescue Effect #3 Event running Friday–Sunday, where pets 5 months and older are Pick Your Price starting at $0!

Giving Back: 20% of all sales are donated straight to HHHS.

Hearty comfort food is calling! Honey Creek Catering & Food Trailer Service is bringing the good stuff to our September Food Truck Night Lite tonight.

Here is the game plan:

When: Tonight 9/4 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Where: HHHS (park on the West side if the front lot is full!)

Beating the Heat: To keep everyone safe in the hot weather, we are skipping outdoor seating. Instead, cool off with your dinner inside the Hill's Education Center with full A/C or grab it to go!

Special Promos: Late adoption hours until 8 PM! The ASPCA Rescue Effect #3 Event kicks off too, meaning pets 5 months and older are Pick Your Price starting at $0.

The Cause: 20% of every food truck purchase directly supports our shelter pets.

Treat yourself to something sweet from It's a Sweet Treat Day Bakery tomorrow! We are keeping things streamlined for our September Food Truck Night Lite.

Quick event details:

Time: This Friday from 4 PM to 8 PM

Location: Helping Hands Humane Society (extra West side parking available)

Cooling Off: No outdoor seating because of the heat, but you can enjoy your goodies inside our air-conditioned Hill's Education Center or take it to go!

Find a Friend: Adoptions are open late until 8 PM. Plus, it's the start of the ASPCA Rescue Effect #3 Event—pets 5 months and older are Pick Your Price starting at $0 all weekend!

✨** Wish List Thursday** ✨

Adoptable Dog Lacey has a few requests for her friends...but first....let's not judge Lacey for the fact it's Thursday and not Wednesday, she doesn't know what day it is and she's really cute so let's let her think Thursday is the regular day we post these!

1. We need bo**ie covers! (think blue hospital shoe covers) - we're doing a lot of cleaning and want to make sure we aren't tracking germies room to room. When we have a high stray intake, that means a ton of dogs who have (most likely) not been vaccinated prior to their arrival and we want to keep everyone safe and healthy.

2. Three-Inch Jumbo Binder Clips. We use this for paperwork, important docs, holding small tiny doors closed when needed, etc. It's a wierd request but oddly the only ones we have right now are super small.

As always, we will drop some Amazon links in the comments!

If you *happen* to have these things at home or in your office already...weeeeellll....we'd sure love to take those off your hands ;)
