Sherry Petta Rescue Sherry Petta Rescue helps lost pets find their way home, strives to keep pairs together, and finds d We are The Pair People™. Thank you for being involved!

Sherry Petta Rescue (Scottsdale, AZ) promotes the adoption of rescue dogs, assists in search & rescue efforts to help owners reunite with their lost pets, hosts fundraising events for no-kill rescues, and encourages simple ways you can volunteer to make a big difference in the world of too many homeless dogs. SPR believes in keeping dog-buddies together and will not separate bonded pairs. Sherry P

etta kicked off Passion for Pairs™ over a decade ago when rescues made it a habit to separate dogs who had been together for years. If two dogs have lost their family and their home, they do not deserve to lose each other! If you don't have an abundance of time to volunteer, maybe you can foster a dog (or adopt!), or volunteer at occasional fundraisers or adoption events. Even "sharing" posts from this page to bring awareness to others of adoption and volunteering opportunities is a tremendous help. Every dog (or pair) who is taken in by SPR gets 5-star treatment. They are loved in a foster home, they are fully vetted, and their placement is done with extreme attention to detail, making sure that every dog who we have the honor to place ends up in the dream home they deserve, and a home that is a good fit for both the people and the dog(s).

A United States Veteran’s senior dog was stolen from his yard. Someone took Tinkerbell but removed her collar and ID tag and left those behind. The veteran and his wife have been searching tirelessly, night and day since she was taken. They are tired, worn, and heartbroken -- but they are not giving up.

Tinkerbell is 12 years old and is on much-needed heart medication. Each day without her meds puts her health at risk. The heat is not good for her. We fear she may be in the possession of a homeless person, forced to endure the harsh Phoenix heat and being used as a prop for panhandling. This sweet little girl is being forced to live in the heat and without her mommy and daddy. Please help us get her home. IF YOU SEE HER, please call immediately 602-703-4866.

WHAT WE NEED NOW:
A reward is already being offered for Tinkerbell's safe return or for information that leads to her safe return, but we want to help to make the reward more enticing.

Please contribute any amount you can to help this little girl get back to her family. Your support means the world to her mom and dad, and could make all the difference in getting her home. Thank you in advance. Donations may be sent via venmo to -petta-1. We are hoping to provide funds for a $1,000 reward.

Zelle is also an option, to [email protected]

Are you on nextdoor? If so, PLEASE clck the image below which will take you to the post . Please comment on the post, please share / re-post. We need this to be so wide spread so that it will land in front of the right eyes -- in front of the person who will see Tinkerbell and make the phone call that saves her life, and gets her back to her veteran owner. Re-posting (via the link) on nextdoor will spread this all over the Valley. Please, we need your help 🧡

DESPERATE!!! ** viral please ** PHOENIX AZ ** Please READ ** Please share ** Please help ** ** ** This homeless person dresses like a MAN and has a man-style haircut -- while it's a woman, could be mistaken for a man. Please just look for a random person with this poor dog who is being held captive by someone, stuck living in the heat without her pet-meds 12-year old dog. OWNER WANTS THEIR DOG BACK. *~*~*~* IF YOU ARE IN THE VACINITY of the I-17 between Bethany Home Road and Bell Road:
1 -- Please post on nextdoor.com
2 -- Please check all Circle K (or similar) store fronts
3 -- Please keep eyes open at all intersections
4 -- Please keep eyes open at all freeway on/off ramps
5 -- If you see this person with this senior, challenged pudgy chihuahua, please call one of the numbers below IMMEDIATELY. Do not approach the person, just call one of the numbers immediately.
6 -- If you can hand some flyers anywhere in the vicinity, please call one of the numbers and offer to help. Even if you just hang 10 flyers, it helps -- the more people who help a little, the more we make a HUGE impact and get this dog back to safety.

WE CANNOT SAY IT ENOUGH! No doggy doors! Do not let your pets outside by themselves -- go out with them and stay close. This is a screen shot from real surveillance footage.
** ARIZONA ** and everywhere. If you would not leave a toddler or a pile of a million dollars cash with your attention, don't leave your pets unsupervised there either.

CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS??????????? Stuck at county, a lovely young lady goes almost every day to visit Bingo (we want to transition her name to "Dollie") the visits help keep her happy. This beautiful young dog remains in good spirits and looks forward to the frequent visits.

County (wrongfully) claims that Dollie will become too attached to her nice visitor, but without the visits, Dollie doesn't get to go into the (gravel) yard to play. She just sits in her cement cell waiting, and waiting, and waiting (because no one has offered to foster her).

Everyone begs rescues, "please help, please save this dog!" But how many step up to foster? Few to NONE.

Is it REAL that there is NO ONE who has a home and a yard who would be willing to foster this special girl until she's adopted.... you know ... before the county shelter euthanizes??

The real problem in this big picture is all the people who don't spay/neuter, who don't adopt with 100% commitment, who adopt when they don't have the money and then they give up the dog, who don't ID tag the dogs, who don't microchip, who don't keep the dogs secured, and who don't look for their lost dogs. THEY are the problem. MCACC can't keep up.

We cannot do anything without fosters.

IS THERE REALLY NOT A SINGLE PERSON WHO WILL FOSTER THIS DOG???

We think her name should be Dollie 💕 🐾. Despite being stuck at the county shelter, she maintains such a sweet, loving attitude, and showing signs that she would like to play 😍 she needs an adopter or a very committed foster. Please email [email protected] and let me know if you would like to foster or adopt. Either way, you would be lucky to have her in your life. ❤️🩷
