Sherry Petta Rescue (Scottsdale, AZ) promotes the adoption of rescue dogs, assists in search & rescue efforts to help owners reunite with their lost pets, hosts fundraising events for no-kill rescues, and encourages simple ways you can volunteer to make a big difference in the world of too many homeless dogs. etta kicked off Passion for Pairs™ over a decade ago when rescues made it a habit to separate dogs who had been together for years. If two dogs have lost their family and their home, they do not deserve to lose each other! If you don't have an abundance of time to volunteer, maybe you can foster a dog (or adopt!), or volunteer at occasional fundraisers or adoption events. Even "sharing" posts from this page to bring awareness to others of adoption and volunteering opportunities is a tremendous help. Every dog (or pair) who is taken in by SPR gets 5-star treatment. They are loved in a foster home, they are fully vetted, and their placement is done with extreme attention to detail, making sure that every dog who we have the honor to place ends up in the dream home they deserve, and a home that is a good fit for both the people and the dog(s).

WAITING OUTSIDE THE GATE .... about a week ago this sweet baby was sitting outside someone's gate, patiently waiting for a nice person to help her. She's confused and lost, and loving. Finder hung flyers and took steps to find owners who have not surfaced so far. THE ONLY WAY THIS COULD HAVE HAPPENED IS IF THE DOG WAS OFF-LEASH. There are MANY reasons for the leash laws. Don't break the law. Now, there is an awful situation because the parents thought they were doing a fun thing for the dog by letting it roam off-leash. This is awful. The poor people, the poor dog! PEOPLE PLEASE DO NOT LET YOUR DOG OFF-LEASH IN PUBLIC NO MATTER HOW WELL YOU THINK YOUR DOG IS TRAINED. This was so preventable! ~*~*~ The dog was found and is home safe, but LESSON LEARNED. Folks, you don't need to learn the lesson after crisis. Here's the lesson now: Abide by the leash laws.

HELP!!! A nice gentleman is trying like crazy to get these dogs to safety. They are okay, but hot and simply exhausted. All rescues are FULL. If they go to County, they'll get split up. IF YOU WILL FOSTER AND HAVE A SAFE AND LOVING PLACE FOR THEM and are not terribly far from Chandler / Tempe / Mesa / Ahwatukee, we will intake these dogs despite being on intake freeze. I'm am SO TIRED if irresponsible people whose negligence causes dogs to suffer like this. To foster, you must have a safe environment for these babies, no small kids, be able to help at least a little with transport to a vet appointment or two, be available so we can schedule meet & greet appointments when they're ready for adoption, and not have upcoming trips which means they will have no place to go while you travel. We need a committed foster-until-adopted for these dogs in order to help them. The second photo is the dogs in the middle of the night (the man has been trying to help them for hours). The first photo is them now .... hot and exhausted. These dogs are suffering. Everyone wants rescues to help. We cannot help without your help. We are not a shelter -- we are a rescue -- and we cannot help without people who step up to foster.

Whooo hooo! Owner got her baby back! *REUNITED* ~~VIRAL PLEASE~~~~~PLEASE SHARE LIKE CRAZY * ARIZONA * this (lost) dog ended up at MCACC and was pulled by a "New Hope" rescue. The owner of this SPAYED FEMALE has been feverishly looking for her -- but now, the dog is out of county, with a rescue, and owner needs to know where her dog is. RESCUES -- do you have this dog? VOLUNTEERS -- does your rescue have her? Please help so this sweet baby can get back to her mama ❤️🩷❤️🩷❤️🩷
