Paw Placement Animal Rescue Paw Placement Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3), no-kill organization based in Scottsdale, Ariz. On average we rescue 600 animals per year.

Paw Placement conducts adoptions through one PETsMART adoption center. Over the past ten years of operation, we have adopted over 8,000 homeless cats and dogs into loving homes. All animals adopted through Paw Placement are spayed/neutered. Standard care provided for felines includes FeLV/FIV testing, annual vaccinations (boosters for kittens), rabies inoculations and microchip. Standard care pro

Paw Placement defines itself as “no-kill,” and provides any necessary veterinary care, over and above the standard care, when it is needed and where quality of life is not an issue. We have approximately 190 active volunteers. The organization houses its cats in a PETsMART 7 day adoption center and in a network of foster homes. Paw Placement houses its dogs in a network of foster homes, as well, where volunteers offer loving structure and training to increase adoptability. We screen all potential adopters through an adoption questionnaire and conduct home visits to insure that animals are going into a nurturing environment.

Sly is still waiting for his forever home, he has been with us for almost a year and has not had any interest. We have no idea why, he might start out a little shy but he warms up and blossoms into an amazing cat. Also, Sly loves cats, he is always ready to make friends. Our heart breaks for Sly, he has been in foster a long time, other cats in his foster home have been adopted but not sweet Sly.
Right now he is in foster with KoKo (pic 2), Koko likes to nap in a closet, Sly curls up in a bed right outside the closet door and naps too (pic 3). Please share Sly so he gets his wish to be in a home very soon. ❤️🙏🏻

Each kitten has a loving, friendly personality and they adore each other. Because they have grown up together, they would be so happy to go home in pairs or have a furry resident to continue their adventures.
These babies are the perfect mix of fun and cuddly. They're always ready to play, explore, and then curl up in your lap when the day is done.

Ellie came to us from Casa Grande and she waited patiently for room to join us in the adoption center. She's a good natured kitty who can't wait to find her people! Ellie has great manners, likes other cats and friendly, gentle dogs. Ellie was returned because the adopted thought she would do best in a quiet, peaceful home.

Meet a gentle soul with a heart full of love and a story that will tug at yours. GG recently lost the only human she's ever known, and while her world has changed in the hardest way, her loving nature hasn't. She still greets kind voices with soft purrs, leans in for pets, and quietly seeks the comfort of being near someone who cares.
GG has clearly known love and devotion, and she is ready to give that loyalty to someone new. If you have room in your heart for a devoted friend who just wants to belong again, this sweet girl is waiting for you.
