Storms can be really hard on dogs 🐕 — the thunder ⚡, the pressure changes, the flashes of light ⚡ all at once. If your pup's anxious, a few things that tend to help:
🏠 A safe, enclosed space (like a covered crate or under furniture) they can retreat to
📺 White noise or the TV to mask the thunder
🧥 A snug wrap or thundershirt — gentle pressure calms a lot of dogs
😌 Staying calm yourself; they pick up on your energy
If the anxiety's severe or happens every storm, it's worth mentioning to a vet 🩺 — there are safe options for dogs who really struggle.
