Good afternoon everyone,

I wanted to share an update about the rescue. Recently, our board members decided to step away and are no longer part of the organization. We respect their decision and wish them the best moving forward.

Because of this change, we are currently unable to maintain our 501(c)(3) non-profit status. We know this is disappointing news, but it does not change our commitment to helping animals and supporting our community. The rescue is still here, and we will continue doing everything we can.

At this time, we are not accepting any dogs or cats. We are currently full and focusing on finding placements for the animals already in our care.

We can still accept some large animals, depending on space and resources.

We are also always grateful for donations to help us continue caring for the animals. Monetary donations are greatly appreciated, and we can also use supplies such as pet food, blankets, used towels, and other basic care items.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support the animals and us. Your kindness truly means the world to us.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to check in. We are not currently taking in any dogs or cats. We are trying to expand the rescue, so until we do, we have limited hours and are still only by appointment. Hopefully, we will be back up and running full-time soon! Please reach out with any questions!

We’re excited to share that our newest litter is now available for adoption — 3 females and 2 males, all 6 weeks old and ready to find their forever homes!

We are located in Stuart, Virginia, and operate by appointment only.
To begin the adoption process, please fill out an application on our website:

Once your application is reviewed and approved, a member of our team will reach out to schedule a visit. Depending on your location, you can either visit us by appointment or arrange for delivery.

🩺 Adoption fee: $25
Includes the first feline distemper vaccine and deworming treatment.

These little ones won’t be available for long — we’d love to see them go to loving homes!

Meet Bean – A Gentle, Playful Soul in Need of a Forever Home
📍 Fredericksburg, Virginia

Bean is a 4-year-old spayed female cat with a soft spirit and a heart full of quiet love. Though she’s shy at first, once she trusts you, she’ll show her affectionate, playful side — especially when her favorite flying pig toy is involved. She’s great with people and children and would do best in a calm, loving home.

Unfortunately, our rescue is currently full, and we’re unable to take Bean in — but we’re determined to help her find the safe, forever home she deserves.

Please help us get ready for kitten season! With the warmer weather coming and spring right around the corner, we'll soon be getting calls about many lost, abandoned, and unwanted kittens in the area. We need the help of our wonderful community members to ensure that we can give each of these tiny kittens the best possible start to their lives. Kitten season is a huge undertaking for Sweetheart's Rescue Ranch, so we're reaching out to ask for your help. We're in dire need of kitten food, formula, blankets, and towels for our growing number of furry friends. Any support is greatly appreciated.
