A hummingbird appeared on my front porch late this afternoon. After enjoying the brightly colored Dahlia, she turned and looked straight at me. Suspended in flight, she came a little closer. Hovered in place looking at each other. She turned and was gone.
My mother loved hummingbirds.
My mom passed this evening.
My mind keeps flashing home movies from the 60’s
A tall slender and regal woman. That is the beautiful mom I will always remember.
