Time flew with the Precious Jewels litter. We weren’t able to share as many pics and video as we usually do with everything that happened. Their baths, lots of exploration walks and meeting the house cat more then once lol never made on the social medias. Nonetheless these kiddos did great on their eval. There’s a funny split of 2 more independent pups, Allirea and Peridot, and 2 more in your pocket pups, Bijou and Garnet. Regardless, all are well adjusted, inquisitive and ready for the vet tomorrow.

Times have been set for the weekend and everyone should have their slots. Please bring a collar and leash, we will help size it correctly. The balance in cash so no electronic issues. Towels and baby wipes for the ride home. As a reminder we feed Inukshuk 26/16 to our growing pups. We love the plain chews from Chomps brand and highly recommend using the course from Leerburg : “Your puppy from 8 weeks to 12 months”, for an amazing start.

It is with an absolutely broken heart that we share some devastating news today. Our brave little boy, who we fought so hard to bring home and restore to health, is no longer with us.

After being missing for six days, he made it back to us against incredible odds. We poured everything we had into his round-the-clock recovery, and he was stable, alert, and deeply loved in our care.

Unfortunately, while seeking a specialized surgical repair for a facial injury at an out-of-state emergency facility, we were met with a heartbreaking bureaucratic nightmare involving rigid jurisdictional protocols.

Despite our desperate advocacy to bring him home, the system left us with no viable path forward to protect his well-being, and we were forced to make the agonizing decision to let him go peacefully.

We are completely devastated. He was a fighter, and the care he received at home in his final days was immaculate. Please keep our family—and especially our daughter, who fought like a warrior for him until the very last second—in your thoughts.

Thank you all for your continuous support, prayers, and love throughout this journey. We are going to take some time as a family to process this immense loss and heal.

They say it takes a village, but sometimes it just takes a dedicated momma dog, some round-the-clock nursing, and a puppy who refuses to give up. 🐾

We wanted to share a little update on our brave Flint. He’s had quite a journey over the last few days and faced some incredibly tough challenges after being lost, but we are so incredibly happy to say he has officially turned the corner!

Today, he is up, bright-eyed, filling his belly, and showing us exactly why Berners are known for their big hearts and strong spirits. It’s been an intense, sleepless few days of intensive care here on the farm, but seeing him look at the world with bright eyes today makes every single second worth it.
Thank you to everyone who has been thinking of him. He’s a fighter, and he’s back! ❤️

Although he’ll be in the gaggle to meet with the families next week we will keep him a week to 2 weeks longer before sending him home to make sure everything is back to normal.

UPDATE: 5/29/26. HE’S BEEN FOUND AND HAS BEEN RETURNED HOME 🥰🥰🥰

Tonight is a post I never in my life thought I would have to make. We lost little Flint. And with lost I mean he’s disappeared. He squeezed out of their outdoor play pen with a sibling and then went on walk about led by Skye (crossed our 5 acre field). Freak things that never have happened before. His sibling and mom made it safely home but little Flint hasn’t. We looked for hours Thursday evening well into the dark. And again all day yesterday walked our whole property multiple times. We’ve combed our neighborhood and talked to all the neighbors, he honestly can’t go but so far on his own. I called all the local vets around, have flyers up and posted in local groups. I’ve contacted drone operators, lost and found organizations and have actively pursued every avenue I can think of to bringing him home. However so far we haven’t gotten any leads at all…..😞😞. The only plausible explanation left is someone picked him up and took him. Whether it was a delivery driver or just someone driving by. All the pups come to a recall already, they come running when they hear mom. They will make a ruckus when they’re left behind when we do an exploration walk. He’s simply nowhere near us 😞😞. We can use every thought and prayer to hope someone will do the right thing 💔 and either take him to a vet who will scan him and call us from his chip or simply contacting us

Apologies for the lack of pics but life is in turbo drive here at home currently with 2 kids in different sports, end of the school year with a senior and our homeschooler, receiving 2000 layer ducklings for the farm over the past 2 weeks and a million other daily things screaming for attention.

Instead I wanted to take the time to share a simple Amazon list with the basics we’d recommend any puppy owner to have when starting a new pup.

I did not add bowls or a collar because everyone wants to choose their own. However I do recommend the 2 door kennels, just gives you so much more flexibility. Once they’re a year old they will need a 42-48” crate to fully stretch out in. With a divider it’s usable from day one, and yes we highly recommend crate training. Both nightly and during the day.

Instead of the pups a picture of something that been occupying my time. More news to follow early June about this pic….
