Mr. Big Stuff’s Stray Cat Sanctuary

A temporary shelter, hair bnb, and/or retirement community for stray cats and formerly feral felines.

So one of our foster kittens, Little Big Stuff (aka Tiny), went missing the other night.

I couldn’t figure out where he went, but every so often I could hear him meow.

I tried like hell to pinpoint his location with my eyes, but in the end I had to rely on my ears.

After a long, crazy night, it sounded like he was stuck in inside the basement walls. But how was that even possible?!

After many hours of fruitless searching, I finally decided to just cut through my basement wall and … 🤦🏻‍♂️😹😮‍💨

The boys have officially been domesticated!

It’s only a matter of time now till they find their forever homes.

Could that be with you?

Hey, everybody!

Cat Dad Dave here with an update on Billy the Kid.

Billy has been with us since he was a feral little feline running around the backyard with his mama and his baby brother 16 long, strange years ago.

Recently, Billy fell ill at the same time as his mama. Unfortunately, we lost poor Mama, but after a few weeks of TLC and good medicine, we’re thrilled to report that Billy is back to his old self!

Here’s Billy lounging outside the catio this afternoon on a supervised backyard break, with his buddy Bebop (our black-and-white rescue cow kitty).

Bebop just loves his Uncle Billy. 😻😻

Thanks again to everyone who helped us memorialize dear Mama and nurse Baby Billy back to health. 🙏

These cats mean the world to us. ❤️

𝐌𝐫. 𝐁𝐢𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐟𝐟’𝐬 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩!

Thanks to our kind and generous supporters, all of our foster kittens are fixed, microchipped, and up to date on their shots! And now two of the kittens are officially in the adoption pipeline.

(Two down, three to go.)
😻😻

We couldn’t do it without you!

If you’re able to help support the remaining kittens in our little sanctuary as we continue working to socialize them, we’re in need of kitten food — both wet and dry.

Lately these little rascals have taken a liking to Fancy Feast (wet) and Meow Mix (dry) for kittens.

Please send us a direct message if you’d like to lend a hand. Thank you so much for your support! 😻

𝐒𝐚𝐲 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨 𝐭𝐨 𝐃𝐫. 𝐒𝐨𝐱 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐟𝐟!

These beautiful boys are fixed, vaxxed, and know how to use the litter box! 😻

And now they’re even microchipped!

Trapped a few weeks ago off the mean streets of Indian Village, these little rugrats have both been neutered and are fully recovered from their recent surgeries.

They were petrified when they first arrived and somehow snuck into the floor joists in our basement for a few days.

We started callin’ ’em the 𝐑𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐬. 😹😹

But after a few weeks of intense socialization (including lots of love and affection), the Rafter Cats are now the 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐬! 😻🎉😻

These party animals need someone to give them a loving forever home.

Sox and Little Big Stuff are now available for adoption through the Pet Adoption Alternative of Warren (PAAW). 😻

These two beautiful bonded babies, Babyface and Peekaboo, are happy and healthy, fully vaccinated, socialized, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 microchipped.

If we can’t find anyone to adopt them this week, they’re headed to a Pet Adoption
show on Saturday in Troy. And if no one adopts them this weekend, they’ll be on display for a while at the Troy Petco.

PAAW and Petco make a great team, and we’re confident the kitties will find a great furever home.

But if anyone following this page wants to bring these babies home first, please hit us up this week! 🙏

Thank you! 😻

Mr. Big Stuff’s Stray Cat Sanctuary wants to say a very special thanks tonight to the amazing volunteers of PAAW, the Pet Adoption Alternative of Warren.

If you’re one of the six people who follow this page, then you know we recently took in a feral family of five feisty felines — and they mama, too!

For about 10 weeks now, we’ve been hard at work trying to socialize these little rascals, morning, noon, and night. It’s been a real labor of love, and these kittens have come a long, long way.

This morning they decided they finally wanted to get legit — and that’s when PAAW sprang into action!

Next thing you know, there’s a couple of kick-ass volunteers at our front door telling us they’re here to give the kitties their distemper shots and microchips.

And much to our amazement, they did!

Not only did all the kittens get their shots and chips this morning, they also got a complimentary mani-pedi!

As Fran Tarkenton used to say, “That’s incredible!”

We don’t know who sent ’em, but boy, are we glad we met ’em!

Thanks a million, PAAW! 🐾
Y’all are straight-up magicians! 😻
