A Boarding Attendant is one of the most important positions at American Pets Inn. The animal care attendant is responsible for cleaning, watching, monitoring, leading daycare groups and assisting in the care of all animals at American Pets Inn. Do you enjoy working with dogs? American Pets Inn is currently hiring. We have a full-time and a part-time position available. We are a Daycare/Boarding/Grooming/Training facility for dogs and our guests truly are their owner's children. Professional Animal Care experience preferred. We are looking for someone with previous animal behavior experience and/or a natural gift for interacting with the dogs in a positive manner. The successful candidate for this position has a passion for dogs and will be eventually responsible for walking, feeding, medicating and interacting with the pets boarding and playing at our facility, as well as cleaning the cottages and other facility areas. We take care of all sizes of dogs and all breeds of dogs, so the right candidate will be comfortable around all of them! It's hard work, but we all consider ourselves so fortunate to come to work everyday doing a job we love! Anyone we add to our team will embody this same belief. EXPERIENCE PREFERRED AT A DOG BOARDING, DAYCARE, VET OFFICE OR ANIMAL SPECIALTY STORE. We are looking for a Detailed/ multi-tasker who has exceptional customer skills both on the phone and dealing with customers in person. Someone who has an outgoing & friendly personality. We have a fast paced environment most of the time so being able to function in that environment is a must. We are a Animal Boarding facility who also offers Daycare, Grooming and Training. A love of animals is a must. You develop a relationship with the customers and their pets. A team player is a must. It is critical to maintain our company goals to provide our customers with the best experience which is safe, fun and healthy. The front desk and the daycare/ boarding staff work hand in hand to achieve this. We are looking for a part time/full time receptionist who can achieve extra hours helping out in back if needed. You will deal with customers, vendors, employees & Vet offices. Knowing word & excel are important and you will help maintain our Facebook and Twitter page when necessary
